Indeed! If one watches UK Column from Monday, you’ll see the ultra-orthodox Jews in Israel, are now unambigously on the anti-vax camp. Israel has the world’s highest per capita vaccination rate and the take up has dropped off dramatically. On the same news broadcast, they cover the “fact-checkers” checking on a whistleblowers figure of 81% increase of deaths in UK care homes since the start of the vax program. Even the “fact-checkers” with wrong data say there has been a 71% increase but, surprise surprise, “it has nothing to do with the vaccine”!
So if you are waiting on your mothers or grand-mothers inheritance, encourage them to take the vaccine now!
I have a thoroughly prejudicial and anti-Zionist suspicion about Israel’s vaccination program. Why Israel? Why would they vaccinate their chosen people with this drug if it’s not safe? How do we know it contains the same antigens as other Pfizer vaccines? Do they have plans for a new variant infecting Palestinians that is much more deadly but which the vaccine will work well against? What is the extent of the Zionists’ collaboration with Pfizer? Just asking, as no-one else has!

There was some negative publicity from care home deaths soon after the vaccine introduction took off in early January. Orthodox Jews have also been resisting.

Mid January Palestine figures were still better than Israel’s, which might be beset by reluctance of the younger set (and orthodox Jews, as in the photo in my previous post above) to accept the covid restrictions.
The two gradients columns show this is changing. While cases are falling in Israel (albeit not as fast as one would expect given the vaccine headlines), in Palestine the rate of increase has more than doubled in this period (gradient 0.75 → 1.59). Cases per million per day have halved in Israel but doubled in Palestine, where the reversal of the falling deaths suggests deaths are about to rise there.
If it is claimed around the world that the vaccine is a success citing Israel (who did the fastest roll-out) as proof, then Israel needs to be reminded of it’s legal responsibility to provide the medical aid (if that’s indeed what vaccines are) to the occupied country.
How apt! Zionistan-in-Palestine is helping to resolve the zionism scam by killing off more zionists than Palestinians; mainly to help Yahoo’s chances of dodging his corruption charges, it seems. Yahwehian levels of irony!
You’re not misreading it, though 50% is probably within the variation in testing pattern in different countries; the UK had a 15% CFR for a while when nobody was getting tested except in hospital, now it’s down as 3% in total here but running much lower.
OTOH as one country is responsible for the other, the question should be put and explanation sought. I expect it is harder for Palestinians to be treated and they presumably won’t have the same access in the communities to existing medicines and vitamins.
Israel’s figures both for deaths and cases per million are now multiples better than Palestine’s.
As these are attributed by Israel to the vaccine rollout,
… it’s high time the world pointed out that the vaccines will in that case most likely work on Palestinians too. This article actually laments the Covid status of the outside world; where better to start than with your neighbours that you are occupying, and thereby responsible for.
