Seems like Sloboda did a decent job describing how seriously Assange took privacy and security issues. Clearly if the wikileaks password had not been leaked by Leigh and Harding, all these ridiculous accusations by the US government would be moot.
And yet Leigh and Harding are not facing any legal proceedings. Quite the opposite, they got a book deal and a movie deal out of their bumbling ineptitude.
Carey Shenkman seems to have been a brilliant witness. I wish we could hear the studio of some if it. My favourite quote from CM
And could she [the prosecutor] define “hacking” in law? Dobbins said she was speaking in layman’s terms. Shenkman replied that she should not do that. We were in a court of law and he was expected to show extreme precision in his answers. She should meet the same standard in her questions.
Brilliant.
