Blimey.
The bad news for Blue Cross is that the woman’s lawyer has another 180 cases in Michigan.
Her co-counsel has another 300 on his books, seemingly mostly in Detroit, Michigan.
“According to the Detroit Free Press, employers named in these lawsuits include T-Mobile, Carhartt, Honeywell, Henry Ford Health, Ascension Health, Trinity Health, MotorCity and MGM Grand Casinos in Detroit and Ann Arbor.”
Blue Cross, with potential liability of billions at stake, seemed to make an unimpressive defence; they questioned the sincerity of the woman’s religious convictions, while also claiming she had not sent enough proof; the trouble being they had ignored what she did send, including evidence from a priest.
I wondered if the outcome - on Nov 8 - might have been influenced by the US election result; particularly in Michigan, a ‘swing state’ where a likely Dem hold indeed swung to Trump, probably much to the dismay of Blue Cross.
Seems only fair to me; it was the Trump catastrophic ‘warp speed’ vaccine, but Biden’s mandate, and Biden poached the ‘credit’ to win the 2020 election. Now they must pay the piper…
If only other strong convictions about enforced injection of experimental drugs were as respected…
