I haven’t read much of Caitlin Johnson’s stuff for a long time since she went Covid-shrieky, but this is a not-bad piece. Her original title is very weak though: " Western Journalists Are Cowardly, Approval-Seeking Losers" - well they’re not losing by doing the things they do are they, it’s like a membership fee.
Small quibble, for sure, but it’s a juvenile insult IMHO.
