(VIDEO 1min 44secs) I'm no fan of David Icke but

David Icke called it EXACTLY in 2009:

It’s interesting isn’t it how we feel the need to distance ourselves from the Ickean polemic with such phrases as the one so aptly chosen, thank you Rich, to title this topic.

Cynics could argue that even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day. The sheer volume of his writing, the evident far-fetchedness of swathes of it, and the sometimes laughably bad way he puts things, readily invites ridicule.

Is he a useful idiot?

I genuinely can’t decide.

But his speech at Trafalgar Sq last summer was by some way the most articulate and effective. And this clip is convincing in many ways. Essence of Icke, when he focuses, is impressive.

But it’s so so difficult to endorse given all the rest of that…stuff.

You describe my response to David I exactly, K. He’ quite the Curate’s Egg. But the good bits are indeed pretty good. I don’t get the feel of a useful idiot, though. More of a self-damaging loose cannon, which nevertheless often enough gets off a powerful blast.

I agree. However, I also ask how much of that “stuff” is self-inflicted and how much was deliberate psy-op to discredit a heretic to the new world order?

If you haven’t watched the two interviews he gave on London Real last year, they are (IMHO) worth the time.

I agree with Rhis - I don’t think Icke’s a usefull idiot but he’s a bit of a mystery to me for sure. Especially his belief that the RF are reptiles! I used to think that by reptiles he meant a bunch of shysters but years ago I stumbled across an interview with him where he was adamant that they are actual reptiles!

I guess you mean this speech? Thanks I’ll have a look.

Been wondering whether to give time to those two Rose/Icke interviews. On your recommendation, Pat, I’ll give them a go. Thanks.
