For those of you who use twitter to follow the news, like me, or who may not know what’s happening on that site, today Pepe Escobar was ‘disappeared’ and so was RWA, Russians With Attitude, and two days ago, for the second time, Scott Ritter.
All three of course provide a different perspective on Ukraine than you’ll find in the state/corporate media.
I expect others who I don’t know about or even some I do will be gone soon, then for an alt perspective I guess it’s the Saker, UNZ and go to Telegram, Orlov, RT on Rumble they say also, haven’t checked.
May be a good time to list ‘alt sources for Ukraine’??
Pepe, Scott and the rest are still findable, outside the control nexus of the Western propaganda machine.
Moral: Dump Twatter, Faecesbrook, and the rest of the Silly Valley crook-shite. We’re going to have to eventually. May as well get on with it. I’ve never used them, btw, and never missed them in the slightest.
Having dumped Wikideceivia totally and permanently now, I don’t find any particular difficulty in being without that either. Cold Turkey for these particular excrescences doesn’t feel particularly difficult at all. Just as well, because it’s the - Long Descending - future, as these worthless outfits die.
Agree, however there is another aspect to consider in terms of media criticism, not just information. The ‘censorship pattern’ on Twitter (especially on Twitter because of the big Silicon Valley mind controllers Twitter seems to accept the widest spectrum of opinion) indicates the true and CURRENT marketing campaigns of the corporate/state. For example, certain viewpoints are tolerated (generalized anti imperialism for example). Which viewpoints are NOT tolerated, currently? Covid questioning and non corporate/state narratives about Ukraine, questioning the narrative about ‘trans is good good good’. Thus, those areas must be where the corporate/state is currently making its move.
The ‘Biden Laptop Story’, once censored, is now ok. Generally it ok to criticise Israel right now. The ‘alt journalists’ who are apparently OK include Jonathan Cook, Glenn Greenwald, Michael Tracey, Aaron Maté. However off guardian has a permanent warning page attached when you go from twitter to an off guardian article. Almost all the ‘questioning the uke narrative’ twitter accounts have been suspended.
I’ve gone to telegram to follow some of those people.
It was inevitable. The quality of our reporting was too high for this platform. Our translations of primary sources were too inconvenient. Just imagine how bluecheck journos suffered watching us blow up from a small podcast account to a successful independent media outlet in the span of 1 (one) month. With no investors but you, our dear audience. Well, that was just inhumane!
We will continue our work on telegram and other platforms. Now with 120% less self-censorship
Russians With Attitude, [14/04/2022 00:19]
I believe the war is about to heat up, for four reasons:
The siege of Mariupol is almost over; its end will free up a ton of Russian & Donbass troops for other major operations.
Strategic bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces have reportedly been put on high alert.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that NATO vehicles transporting weapons for Ukraine are considered legitimate military targets.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has threatened to bomb “decision-making centers” in Ukraine, including Kiev, if the Ukrainians fire at Russian territory again.

This is how Big Tech techno-feudalism works.
They’re sooooooo predictable.
Friends in California had warned me I was on the radar. On Twitter for only 6 months, and the number of followers rose too fast.
I sent a written complaint - don’t expect an answer, much less an intelligent one.
It’s great that some stuff gets through on Twatter and it seems Telegram is relatively free of censorship for the time being, but Telegram is part of the same big tech cabal. Perhaps (my suspicious mind) it’s get all the free thinkers in one place, surveille everything they say and do, and then shut it down.
There is now a device (I believe) that allows text messages only, no voice and no apps and no unique identifier so Google, MI6 et al can’t identify you. It seems to me that is the only way out, until of course the false flag attack that downs the Internet
Telegram is owned by two Russian brothers apparently…supposedly they quarreled with the Russian govt, at least one brother became a French citizen and then moved to Dubai. Billionaires…
