Not FFS - HHS. Health and Human Services, with a $trillion budget.
It was thought he was going to be a kind of csar.
This could get rocky! Kennedy has said he wants to…turn it upside down and root out the in-built corruption. In the US many health-related scandals can look officially legit, as the system itself is built around bribery, conflict of interest and revolving doors.
Almost as interesting an appointment: Tulsi Gabbard as national intelligence director.
Donald Trump appoints pro-Israel, pro-Assad Tulsi Gabbard as national intelligence director
I suppose if she can be pro-Israel and pro-Assad, why not be anti-war while being a military reservist. Maybe she took a hike to the right. But she’s accused of being pro-Russia and pro-China as well. That might just be because she doesn’t want war - military or trade - with them.
Expect to see some feathers spat out of the GOP nest.
Call me skeptical but I’ll reserve judgement until the time all these appointments produce some real results. As for RFK at the department of Health and Human Services, it seems to me that is a little sidelining as the CDC and FDA appear to call all the shots on drugs and health with the HHS just being an outfit to make sure their policies are carried out.
In my opinion (as a complete outsider to US politics), it seems Gabbard is perhaps also a token gesture. It’s the CIA that carries out all the false flags and money laundering, it’s the FBI that covers it all up, and Homeland Security makes sure they are both doing a great job while rounding up any dissenting US voices. Gabbard will have to provide all their combined ‘intelligence’ to the President. I can’t see her having any real influence on the corrupt trio.
Trying to keep the glass half full, looks good but wait and see.
