While this is a totally serious - and I think wholly honest - account, there is a hilarious interlude in part two. Here Simon questions why the statistically insignificant population of Jedi adherents have not been able to muster even a fraction of the influence that the even less statistically significant population of transwomen wield. By that point in his discourse the answer is glaringly obvious.
I would differ on pronoun use, but Simon does deviate a little from the New Normal in an aside about the Chaplain of Canterbury Christ Church University.
