As this is “all about our health”, all the countries dropping mandates seem to have crystal balls (no pun intended). How in this instance, does the Canadian government know that it will be safe to drop the mask mandate on March the 21st. As @RobG says. Beam me up Scottie

There’s this thing called a normal distribution curve… Being charitable I guess it gives people the chance to gradually acclimatize.
In our workplace February has been a “transitioning back” month: stickers and admonitory posters disappearing, handwash pump dispenser shoved to one side, a few people daring to relinquish their facemasks. I even heard a colleague say “…maybe this whole thing is a smokescreen for other stuff that’s going on…” As far as I know the PCR testing compound remains on one of the car parks, deserted as usual.

Not much mench on mainstream here. The Heil covered it; nothing on BBC, the Guardian interviewed the victim Csaba Vizi in January but show no interest in his further experience.
CNN has a good search facility - you can use it to check for example that the only mention of Peter McCullough there is when he was interviewed by Joe Rogan on Spotify and Professor Neil Young called it misinformation. Anyway, no mention of the guy who was badly beaten up.

To clarify, I was describing provincial, not federal, government removal/relaxing of restrictions. Health is a provincial jurisdiction here.
What is federal is the federal public service, transportation, RCMP, Coast Garuda, armed forces. As far as I know, there are no moves yet to ease mandates covering those areas.

This is the same guy (Viva Frei) reporting on the continued detention of Tamara Lich and Pat King. They are now Canada’s political prisoners. The charges are “mischief” and yet no bail and Lich brought into court in shackles FFS.
