Compare with Meryl Nass’s blog, linked by Evvy just below this post. The contrast between someone who’s fully up to speed with the covid swindle, and someone who is so busy knocking himself out trying to do active good - quite rightly too, and wholly to be admired for that, let’s be clear - that he fails - fatally - to keep up with the latest evolutions of understanding about the covid thing - particularly the poison-stabs, which he STILL seems to think actually work, and are (relatively) harmless.
Clearly also, Craig still hasn’t caught up yet with the growing, widespread realisation that simply ALL official information, about anything at all, and particularly statistics, needs to be treated with deep reserve, and constant buckets of salt.
And as for Craig’s views on Putin, Russia, and the entirely USuk-provoked war in the Ukraine… I can only wonder: did his time being a Brit diplomat in Poland cause some of the apparent raging insanity of Poles towards everything Russian to rub off onto Craig:
Yeah Murray is trying to be good but also, under pressure from both sides that he accuses of being extreme ‘camps’, but he lands in the ‘third camp’ which is worse than no camp. A poor substitute for examining the evidence for yourself, and arguably harmful when you have influence.
Supremely lame article which looks as though it took about ten minutes to type up, and probably another five or so admiring himself for how ‘nice’ he is. Pathetic.
And relying on Wikidecevia as “ [a source] which is curated very close to the official line on these matters,” makes him completely off his head and negates everything good he has previously said.
Yep! Anyone quoting Wikideceivia as a ‘reliable’ source - about absolutely anything at all - clearly still hasn’t caught on fully to the hopelessness of that cess-pit of lies. The only sound approach to Wdeceivia is never to go near it - for any information whatever; my settled habit now. I just don’t buy the ‘oh but it can be good on politically-neutral things!’ No. Touch pitch and be defiled. There are always other sources, even though Wd is the one that’s always thrown at you first when you’re doing a search. Just ignore it, and scroll down to sounder sources beneath.
Yeah, disappointing from someone who sees very clearly when it comes to the Assange case. Heard him at a recent event speaking of the slide to fascism in Europe because of the lack of free speech. But some of the points he makes here are downright simplistic
“Then you have those brave enough to suggest a counter view, but who claim that Putin is perfect and Russia a workers’ paradise, that all Ukrainians are Nazis, that there are no Ukrainians in the Donbass, and that Russia is only prevented by self-restraint from total military victory.”
What a ridiculous caricature. I’ve never heard commentators who fully support Russia’s actions refer to Putin as “perfect” or consider Russia a “worker’s paradise”. I suspect the overwhelming majority of those taken in by the BBC/Guardian version of events in Ukraine don’t see Boris Johnson or Joe Biden as perfect. So why this infantile description?
Similarly his descriptions of the two camps on Covid is silly. As if the critics of the covid restrictions and the jabs all think the same (it’s just “all a sinister government plot”). No nuance allowed, no need to mention WEF, Pfizer’s massive influence in politics and the media, etc.
Then he says “Vaccines should be voluntary and no sanctions imposed for not taking them.”. Yeah, great but unfortunately that hasn’t been the reality. Sanctions have been applied and people have been coerced into taking them. Millions of young people have taken them because it would allow them to travel, give them access to clubs etc. No wonder people start thinking it is a sinister government plot.
It’s funny that he later states “There are no absolute rights in our society, beyond the right to breathe.” The masking regime was pretty close to taking that right away!
Interesting thread. For the record, I haven’t trusted Murray for years, but never really decided why.
I could speculate about many reasons why, but I’d be most inclined to say it’s because he is establishment. Sure, he lost faith and gave us many useful glimpses, the fact remains that he has more blond spots than an articulated lorry. Why? Could be training/conditioning. Hard to unprogram oneself. You’ll never delete it all. Misguided beliefs? Auntie would never lie to me.
All in all, it’s gotten a bit like prison over the last decade. In that you can’t trust anyone. Everything is plausible, nothing is fact. Fun times
