Well why not go now. He’s got his chateau in France, his mansion in Florida and a bulging bank account (courtesy of, amongst others, the UK taxpayer) in Lichtenstein and probably elsewhere. Seems like a good time to leave and start spending a bit of that cash if his wife hasn’t already cleaned him out.
I suspect he’s gonna lose it all. Takes a very smart player to walk away with all the chips. Zelensky isn’t that player. In way over his head and addled with coke to boot.
It’ll probably trundle on for a week or three, but the jig is up.
If he goes he’ll be shot by one of his comrades, with a ready-made ‘It was Rooshia’ cover story. Probably been on file for years.
Always merely an actor, all the world’s a stage etc. Nevertheless I will be briefly exhilarated.
