Thanks, 123. (I don’t suppose you’ll be posting this at TDScentral-afloat, will you…? ) Dr. T is really upset, isn’t she? If she’s right, then that’s another big plus for ivermectin trearment (and also C, which I seem to remember has anti-helminthic functions, amongst all its others).
I’ve been seeing these videos of - possible - worms for some days now. Doctor T’s investigations, however small scale, kitchen-table, nevertheless do seem to show vital experimental information. I still can’t decide: do they look alive, or are they just reacting to some stray current? And anyway, what are they? And why/how are they there?
You can see how the narratives are going to diverge, can’t you: ‘They’re just black threads that happen to be part of the fabric!’ ‘No, they’re items of some sort of jiggery-pokery with the masks, put there deliberately to cause us worry and maybe actual illness!’ ‘No, the video is a fake!’ Etc.
Another possibility occurs to me, also: Maybe Trickster/Coyote/Loki is having another paranormal game with us, as the sod loves to do, just for making a bit of shaking-up mischief! Doctor T’s testimony about all the fresh, fully-sealed sample masks coming up ‘infected’ certainly suggests that something not ordinary is going on. Criminal swindle, or paranormal mystifier ? Or just stray fibres moving slightly in the breezes?
Doesn’t feel like acting (says this old pro ). And yes, she’s remarkably upset, but I think that’s precisely the sort of soul-crisis through which naive good-thinkers, especially of the sheltered-life bourgeois kind, have to go, as they begin to realise that their whole innocent world-view is falling apart under the blows of non-dodgeable evidence of the demonic side of human psychology. You can see how strongly she believes in the angelic side, can’t you. And fwiw, I agree with her entirely about the essential goodness of the human soul. I’m fully of her persuasion.
I think her upset is more caused by that scales-falling-from eyes experience, than by aversion to - possible - parasitic worms. She knows about, and approves of, our internal population of helper micro-organisms, after all. And about easily-available, proven anti-helminthics. (garlic and cayenne pepper, for the herbally-minded ) But up until this, she’d never been smacked right in the face with what she’s convinced is dramatic - and, to her, conclusive - evidence of just how wicked humans can be.
This is a very good example of the generation of a conspiracy theory based on false presumptions and poor science (like so much “official science”), but so neatly exposed by a logical and sensible scientist. Vexingly the science of masks and why they don’t and can’t work against virus particles simply has no effect on the prevailing and dominant myth of the Covidian cult, so brilliantly illustrated by the grotesque image and insult to the Queen at the weekend, forced to keep to “COVID regulations” in the most extreme of circumstances where there was not a chance in Hades of being infected by the plague.
