Regarding issues not addressed by the chancellor, this was a Radio 4 presenter explaining the main things left out of the budget:
“How are we going to fund the defence spending increase”, and
“Tackling welfare spending”
Meanwhile in another part of the BBC, a guest talking up the planned increase in defence spending “…which everybody agrees is needed”
The balanced BBC presenter said nothing.
