There was an interesting comment over at TLN (maybe a minority of one) that people shouldn’t exult over the outrage of almost all the media that the Dems didn’t get in despite having the might of the western media behind them.
Hm. Everyone that sees the MSM for what it is should at least take a little pleasure in seeing these contortions. The BBC is only temporarily bearable because of this discomfort. Actually, it’s warm righteous indication can respectably be savoured IMO, because of the light shed on their reporting, laughably but seriously referred to as ‘annoyingly balanced’. Can anyone deny they - and the Guardian and NYT and WaPost and CNN and MSN etc - were full square behind one of the two parties? Their coverage read like end to end Democrat broadcasts.
With all they could have covered today and yesterday - like virtually evey Israel anti-Palestinian or anti-Arab move, or Trump’s bombshell against pushing gender ‘medical’ ideology on kids - the BBC, in 3 radio news programmes in a row, first announced the item about the worrying ‘antisemitic’ behaviour at a football match in Amsterdam towards Israeli fans.
Never mind the genocide!
But did anything happen at that football match before that? Well, yes - a lot.
H/T to John Monro who picked this up.
"You have to read to near the end of the article, about 750 words, to be informed that the Maccabi supporters had been themselves seriously acting up, shouting anti-Palestinian threats, burning a Palestinian flag and behaving in a racist and bothersome fashion like any other normal touring football fans, along with ignoring a minute’s silence for the victims of the Spanish floods.
And John, who is himself distressed at the Trump win, IMO set a neat example in his indulgent tone here, if you go into the post.
Clinching the argument for me - when the MSMs undergarments are in a twist, do the decent thing - and watch with relish.
For they are a far bigger threat to the world than a passing politician.
