How do you think Sir Keith will get his hands on the keys to Number 10 @RhisiartGwilym ? I tend to agree it’s a likely scenario, but would imagine the defenestration of Johnson and his replacement with some other Tory worm would have to precede this.
Like the Russians, Starmer just has to wait. Johnson will go, finally admitted to be inadequate for the job. His tory replacement will shine like Treesa May and John Major did, and Starmer having already proven that he’s a reliable servant of the Western gics’ policies, will eventually ooze into Downing Street on a total poll of maybe half the despairing electorate, with ex-Labour getting maybe forty percent of the votes cast, some time in the next few years. Either tint of blue arse-kissers will serve the gics’ purposes equally well, so what do they care? Whichever one is most convenient for the moment. Use and discard, as politic.
