I saw Roger performing in Birmingham last week - it was an exceptionally good gig. He had a good old on-stage rant about the confected furore over his Berlin performance where the reprisal of his 4-decades-old lambasting of fascist dictators saw the wilful misrepresentation of what it is he’s doing there - ditto with the Ann Frank reference in his performance. That part of the show (Thin Ice) where he would sometimes don the leather trenchcoat saw him opting to wear a keffiyeh.
Overall the show is very powerful, and moving - I wept twice!
Highlight for me was Sheep - extraordinarily brilliant.

I saw something on Twitter from Off Guardian which warned that Waters was pro Covid psy op, lockdown, fear mongering, Vaxx etc any truth to that?

I couldn’t find anything suggesting he was into it or opposed.
His most loyal fan base (lefties?) would suggest an aversion to percieved Trumpian views; political opposition took hold early in 2020 and largely became pro-narrative. Anyone with strong political views that was not paying close attention to covid would find it hard not to be affected by this polarised covid climate. Being associated with the right - never mind Trump! - was a powerful dissuasive force.
My view is that I think you just have to play horses for courses.
Honest covid guy Senator Ron Johnson openly called for the destruction of Nord Stream 2. Scott Jensen, a devout and sincere medical freedom campaigner, wants to deny abortion even to rape and incest victims. The more genuinely left, the more likely to accept the narrative due to knee-jerk rejection of ‘the right’, and fear of being associated with it…
I take this to extremes - I don’t look for general worthiness confirmation, it all boils down to the evidence. I don’t even look up Meryll Nass’s politics and she is as close to a covid hero as it’s possible to get! Because I’m afraid of what I might find.
