Ritter on Israel and Ukraine

I’m struggling to follow Ritter’s view on the Israel Palesting conflict. It’s right at the start of of the chat. I haven’t heard these views from anyone else. He says Israel is losing a lot of men in the ground war. We’re not hearing much about that…is any other commentator weighing in on this?

Need to see how Hamas plays the negotiations game I guess. Ritter thinks they are playing the long game so far and have done from the beginning.
If that’s the case the effort and sacrifice of the Palestinians has been been of biblical proportions.
OTOH Ritter might just be flaking out. Though his confidence is compelling, that seems to me the more likely explanation.

I’ve not heard anything for a while. Even the slick videos have gone. But I still see soldiers families posting about their losses. More recent was last week. American dual citizen. Staff Sergeant IDF.

What others are saying and from the videos released by the Qassam brigade it seems Israehell is losing more men and machines than they were a year ago. But “… a lot of men on the ground”? Perhaps it’s a lot compared to 2 years ago, but from what it seems, nothing will stop Nuttyahoo.

Hey Local. How about a link?

Was a video on telegram. Footage is possibly faceache. Had a quick scout this morning and will hunt properly later.

Edit. Hunted high and low and cannot find the video. I did come across this text though;

:rotating_light:Two years of dehumanization: How Zionism discredited itself

Two years into a devastating Gaza war that has ignited the wider region, Israel finds itself mired in crises, with more problems to show than victories.

:x: Here’s why its campaign is failing:

:arrow_right: Domestic support is crumbling: as the war drags on, Israeli anti-war sentiment surges. In August 2025, tens of thousands protested the government’s Gaza policy.

:arrow_right: The public wants a deal: a July 2025 poll by Israeli Channel 12 revealed 74% of Israelis back an agreement with Hamas to free all hostages and end the war.

:arrow_right:A war-fatigued military: Israeli media openly report on the army’s exhaustion. In September, Maariv cited this fatigue as a key reason the IDF cannot defeat Hamas. After 2 years of intense combat, the military faces equipment failure, heavy losses, and broken morale, with many officers confused about the war’s ultimate goal.

:arrow_right: A silent mental health crisis: suicides are rising within the IDF. While official numbers are suppressed until January 2026, the Knesset demanded an investigation in July 2025 — a demand the military ignored.

:arrow_right:Conscription crisis deepens divisions: the IDF still fails to mobilize the ultra-Orthodox, placing the war’s burden squarely on the secular middle class. This fuels social resentment and paralyzes the economy.

:arrow_right: The economy is in freefall: Israel’s GDP plummeted 19.4% in 2024, with a further 3.3% drop predicted for 2025. Businesses are paralyzed, and Houthi attacks have reduced the port of Eilat to 3% capacity.

:arrow_right:Global pariah status: what the Netanyahu government dismisses as “fake” is recognized by the UN as genocide. By denying Palestinians a sovereign state, Israel is alienating its allies and facing strategic isolation.

:arrow_right: A collapsed security doctrine: Zionism’s core defense principle made by the first Israeli PM Ben Gurion — Israel can neither impose peace nor sustain a long-term army — has shattered. Two years in, the foundational idea has failed, leaving a vacuum in its wake.
