unbelievable. I’ve been doing a deep dive over the last few days on the “great reset”. Part of the plan seems to be a necessity to keep the fear mongering strong to keep the population more or less compliant. A cheap and effective treatment such as HCQ is definitely not part of that plan.
If only he had done the proper trials before he became a target of the establishment. This line make me raise my eyebrows (actually I did a lot more than that)
No clinical trials have yet found in favour of using hydroxychloroquine against Covid-19, and critics say that due to potential serious side-effects, treating coronavirus patients with it is worse than no treatment at all.
Incidentally, did you notice that the UK Govt has finally decided to provide free vitamin D to folk considered to be high risk, this winter?
Cheers
Much better report here
The Repression Against Prof. Didier Raoult Begins
Raoult isn’t the only one: " Prominent Paris physician Prof. Christian Perronne, mentioned below and similarly critical of the government, has been removed from his position as President of the Scientific Council for the French Lyme Disease Association."
Seems Raoult’s real offence is in persistently speaking out.
Facebook moved as if with the same spring, showing which side it takes:
" To top it all off, this weekend Facebook deactivated the 500,000-member group created in support of Didier Raoult. No explanation was given by the American social network for this unilateral decision, as usual. In the silence of this authoritarian deactivation, minds should not be long in suspecting the government of having acted behind the scenes to silence awkward opponents."
Pontious: “Incidentally, did you notice that the UK Govt has finally decided to provide free vitamin D to folk considered to be high risk, this winter?”
Yeah though I only saw it in the Daily Mail. Hancock is on record saying there was no benefit from Vitamin D supplements. The govt started to change its tune in July,
This only recommended 10mg, perhaps only enough to mitigate lockdown effects in the summer. At that point they claimed only to be worried about lockdown reducing Vitamin D. The Mail article explicitly says
“One recent study found that more than 80 per cent of Covid-19 victims admitted to hospital were Vitamin D deficient, compared with a UK average of 25 per cent.
Ministers are hoping that greater uptake of the vitamin, along with more effective drug treatments and a viable vaccine, will combine to remove the need for an endless series of rolling lockdowns.”
But if they only offer 10mg now the minimum dose will be trying to achieve two purposes; hopefully it will be higher though.
I didn’t follow the link, but by my calculation 10 micrograms is about 160iu which is the common measure for vitamin D supplements. Normal dosage is around 1000iu and various experts and papers often recommend 4 or 5 times that. So 10 micrograms a day seems to me to be taking the pee!
I’m just stunned by this story, having been acting as advocate for Raoult and his institute and his treatment since back in MARCH, when his first trial showed such dramatic success (and sorry PP but “not doing the proper trial” is what the Guardian and its ilk have said about HCQ, and is nonsense)
I’ve just written the latest of numerous articles about this, but focusing on what Raoult claims rightly is the “public health scandal of the century” - the banning of HCQ and licensing of Remdesevir, in the interests of GILEAD and Fauci, and all the corrupted institutes and researchers who have taken money to do fake trials etc.
Raoult launched a suit against the French government with lawyer Fabrizio de Vizio last week, for their action to prevent him giving patients proper care.
I can’t get my article published yet, which I sent to OffGuardian to no response, and AHT has gone, so what now!!! This makes me as angry as a report I heard this mornning all about the criminal court and Syria and torture…
Now I’ve read this and the disgusting little solicitation at the end about scientific journalism and … GOD! The Guardian is the last gasp, because they have just reinforced the pack of lies being told about the drug which Raoult has been fighting for nine months. He was sent death threats in April by one health researcher who had received significant funds from GILEAD, and has had two appearances in the French parliament/senate giving evidence and opinion, and accusing the government of culpable incompetence in failing to give HCQ to virus patients that could have saved thousands - given the death toll in his institute was a third that of other hospitals in France. How can they get away with this?
Just because France is part of the “free world” and has even stood up to the US on some notable occasions, it doesn’t mean that France is a free country. It’s still in a state of emergency after the “terrorist” false flag attack in Niece some years ago. If one studies the history of Gladio (the stay behind army), France is as much in the centre of it as Germany.
That said, you’re right about Raoult. For him to have to take his own government to court and for the French news to ignore it all, well I guess they are just as bad as the rest.
Add to that I have just reread the original Guardian article. How about this. “Millions are flocking to the Guardian for open, independent, quality news every day ,” @Dimac is right. They really are the last gasp.
