The latest from Tessa Fights Robots. I will say that I don’t agree with everything she says, but she says it so well, that it’s absolutely worth reading and thinking about. This, for example:
So now I am politically homeless. I stand my human ground and try to use my heart, ideologies be damned.
Lots of interesting thoughts about what @RhisiartGwilym calls TDS - and the potential reasons for it, namely the concept of “hijacked compassion”. I thought that a very interesting point.
Anyway - no one cares what I think. Go and read Tessa instead!
Is that ‘Years of Repair’ cartoon really vomit-worthy? Seemed to have some hopeful - and actually non-dodgeable - good ideas. What makes Tessa vomit? Is this an appropriate response to the idea of universal re-bridge building between people, and helping Gaia to re-green the Earth? How is that objectionable? The cartoon actually ends with the statement: “No-one is sacrificed. Everyone is essential.” What’s emetic about that?
To be honest, I didn’t watch that video yet. But hazarding a guess based on what I read I think that she feels the whole thing is pure propaganda to sucker in good hearted people to willingly play the great reset game of the Davos club. And covid is the stick to beat the fear into them… This plus her allergic reaction to centralised planners telling everyone else what’s best for them are the reasons I think she had such a violent reaction…
But I’ll have a watch later and see what I think!
