Spaffer Johnson seems to be trotting out at least two narratives at the moment. In one he bluffs his way through the jab passport issue by saying it’ll just be a temporary thing while we struggle back to normal, nothing to worry about. Get down the pub guys, we’ve got your backs.
In the other he says (‘misspeaks’?) jabs haven’t reduced cases, yet, actually it’s lockdown we have to thank. Neither is more than slightly true, but this could buy time if the tech Johnnies can’t quite get the app to work.
And let’s stay alert to those variants of concern in case (alas) we might have to look at the roadmap again Yadda Yadda.
Few of us are under any illusion that some form of covid passport is not on the cards. maybe mission creep (based on power grab mentality) is slowing down rollout. Or it might be that the ground hasn’t been prepared enough.
