Order Out Of Chaos: How The Ukraine Conflict Is Designed To Benefit Globalists [Russia, China and America all equally bad]

Russia is an equally venal regime as America, according to this analyst:

Indeed truly Orwellian…push up those prices kids…then reset to a higher and even more in-equitable level…that’s Globalisation!

I can’t agree with some of the main points. I don’t think his understanding of Russian behaviour in Ukraine and Kazakhstan stands up.

To be sure, Russia has a history of hypocritical behavior when it comes to its involvement in the affairs of its neighbors. For example, only a few months ago, Kazakhstan was facing mass protests which the government claimed were caused by “foreign manipulation.” Zero proof was presented to justify this assertion.”

That’s not credible. Ordinary people protesting don’t start firing and killing the police. It seemed pretty clear something was organised from elsewhere in those Kazakh protests.

Ironically, Russia is happy to support the unrest of separatists in Ukraine

Really? It likes unrest in its neighbours?

Let go Brandon. Your narrative doesn’t stand up.

This certainly “stands” well enough; "In Putin’s first autobiography, titled First Person, he discusses with fondness his first encounter with New World Order globalist Henry Kissinger as a member of the FSB (formerly the KGB). As Putin rose through the political ranks he maintained a steady friendship with Kissinger, and to this day they have regular lunches and Kissinger has been an adviser to multiple branches of the Kremlin.

It doesn’t stop there, though. Putin and the Kremlin have also kept a steady dialogue with the World Economic Forum, the project of the now-notorious globalist Klaus Schwab. In fact, only last year Russia announced it was joining the WEF’s “Fourth Industrial Revolution Network” which focuses on economic socialization, artificial intelligence, the “Internet of Things” and a host of other globalist interests which will all lead to worldwide technocracy and tyranny.

Again, the Russian government is NOT anti-globalist. This claim is nonsense and always has been. I would attribute the fantasy of Russian opposition to a steady stream of propaganda and what I call the False East/West Paradigm – The fraudulent notion that the globalist agenda is a purely Western or American agenda and that countries like China and Russia are opposed to it. If you look at the close interactions between the East and the globalists, this idea completely falls apart.

It’s important to understand that most conflicts between the East and the West are engineered conflicts and the leaders of BOTH SIDES are not really at odds with each other. Rather, these wars are kabuki theater; they are wars of convenience to achieve covert ends while mesmerizing the masses with moments of terror and calamity. For anyone who has doubts about this, I highly recommend they read the thoroughly researched and evidenced works of professional historian and economist Antony Sutton, who quite accidentally stumbled onto the facts surrounding the globalist conspiracy and went on to expose their habit of playing both sides of nearly every war over the past century from the Bolshevik Revolution to WWII and onward.

The strategy of order out of chaos is nothing new: it’s something the globalists have been doing for a very long time. The number of open revelations post-Covid about the ‘Great Reset’ that globalists have publicly admitted to is so staggering that their plans can no longer be denied. Any skeptics at this point should be suspected of having a single digit IQ." (Order Out Of Chaos: How The Ukraine Conflict Is Designed To Benefit Globalists - Activist Post)

This is where we are “at-man”, behind this globalised state is the Tetragrammaton, politicians, and even business owners, only hold temporal power (although they aspire to much more), those with the power to manipulate (“control” being an oxymoron here), dark-energy pull the strings (even whilst being controlled themselves -but not by “human” agencies-), as we are sucked pell-mell to Hel.

China is a capitalist dictatorship, so where’s the beef?

You think this stands, G? Really? Well, we’ll see.

The link between VVPutin and Schwab and the WEF is an oddity which requires an open-minded watching brief, I think.

Looking at how Russia is governed now, and what its leadership is doing, it seems to me that the relationship between it and Schwab’s dreamers is complex.

One thing which either Dmitry Orlov or Andrei Raevsky pointed out a while back is that Russians talk to absolutely everyone: their enemies as well as their friends; diplomatic relations are always maintained where possible.

Western commentators seem to interpret Russia’s continuing regular cordial contact with - for example - zionistan-in-Palestine as some sort of conclusive proof that Vlad is a secret friend of the apartheid colony. They further note that he shows affectionate friendliness towards Klaus when they meet, because of their long acquaintance, and assume that that must mean that Putin is secretly part of the WEFoids’ New World Order fantasies.

I prefer the Occam’s Razor default: Russia maintains cordial Lavrov-quality relations with ALL who’ll accept them, regardless of private reservations about what these others really are and what they’re up to. This, simply to maintain maximum effectiveness in real-world, art-of-the-possible political negotiations. If talking constructively to people you privately despise/loathe produces practically-useful results, then get the feck on with it!

The two Russian commentators who I mentioned above assert that it’s an ancient Russian characteristic, bred of long historical experience of negotiating even in the midst of war and confrontation; just as they’re doing right now in Ukraine, to the absolute bewilderment of Western ‘experts’, who only grasp the West’s way of EITHER negotiate OR fight. They just can’t grasp the idea of both going on in parallel.

In conversation with an equally dissident neighbour here today, we discussed the two bins that serious investigators have to use to maintain any idea of which conspiracies are possibly real: for them, the ‘Likely’ bin; and which are genuinely far-fetched: for them, the ‘Zany’ bin.

My hunch - no more than that - is that the notion of Russia/China/USAmerica all conniving together in perfect cahoots to bring about a single dictatorial world government belongs in the ‘Zany’ bin. But we’ll see.

The vibes coming off the Ukraine crisis seem to me to indicate very clearly a steadfast unity between China and Russia, in order to hold everything together whilst USAmerica goes berserk and falls apart, and its empire with it. And the duopoly maintains a settled determination to build a multipolar, ANTI-one-world-government order, once the US has worked through its own collapse-of-USSR time, and has begun to achieve the sort of sober sanity and renaissance which Russia has achieved, since its own collapse catastrophe. My hunch, anyway.

The idea of whole-world-manipulating Illuminatoid super-villains seems to me to be definitely one for the ‘Zany’ bin, if only because real little human farties just aren’t up to that degree of supermensch stuff; not outside of childish Hollyshite fantasies. True, some silly buggers brought up to look down on the hoi polloi may swallow their own fantasies and try to come on like ubermenschen. But look what happens when they do: Klaus isn’t a terrible supervillain; he’s a little-farty joke! Look what a mess his crowd of conspiring friends made of the covid scam: falling apart so precipitately after a couple of years that they were back-pedalling and scrapping the lock-down lunacy at top speed, as people’s mutinous refusal rose steadily. Had it with covid; move on!

The Ukraine crisis coming to the boil just now has enabled them to switch the propaganda machine gratefully away from the disastrous covid muck-up and onto ‘evil-animal Russians’ shrieking.

Almost - I dunno? - as if the crooks behind the covid scam are the same crooks who’ve been goading Russia into invading the Ukraine; by - er - you know - ordering their Kiev underlings to step up the shelling of the Donbas cities, killing as many innocents as possible; until finally Moscow said: “Ah feck this! We’re good and ready to attack, aren’t we? Yes? Then let’s go! Recognise the republics, and sweep in to defend them, sort out the Kiev nazis, and smack the West good and hard in the mouth, to sober up their fantasies!”

But lo and behold! Even that tack of the conspirators - blowing up the Ukraine - thrusts them immediately into responses which Dmitry O describes as ‘suicide by Russia’: Crazy sanctions which are going to devastate the West, without much harm to Russia/China; accelerating their multi-polar world, in fact, as the West crashes. See what I mean about comically-fallible little human farties?

One of the strange things about the current circumstances appears to be just how Bolshevik the Donbas separatists are, the same certainly does not apply to Putin who is no socialist!

In terms of any “world government” conspiracy one must remember that neoliberals believe laissez-faire is democracy Rhis (and been stated by its proponents many times), as long as people accept that world government is de-facto.

What do you think Bohemian Grove, Bilderberg et.al are? They enable world government…and really that’s that!

Have a listen to the latest Delingpod with Alex Thomson - they touch upon this briefly (around the 48 min mark), with Alex reckoning that Putin started off ‘nefarious’ but ultimately turned his back on the ‘western cabal’ - hardly conclusive, but Alex does have some deep insight.

Excellent stuff! Many thanks, N! The more I hear of Alex Thomson, the more I rate him. Another remarkable polymath, like JMGreer.

I even warm to what James D has been doing recently, though previously I’d flagged him as a prize prat. Have to revise that judgement now, I think. As usual with anything from Alex, I recommend hearing this whole podcast: insightful, much!

Naturally, on the principle that we ALL have blind-spots/hot-buttons, where in each of us the writ of strict intellectual accuracy doesn’t necessarily run, I guess Alex’s will be his devotion to Christianity - of the Baptist variety, if I have it right. But that doesn’t detract from his excellence at all, in practice. Just makes him more honourable yet, I think.

Though not a Christian myself, I can’t say that I disagree with its core conceptions, which of course are common to most of the great religious insights of world history: Big Mind as the source, individuated immortal souls as outgrowths of that being, never fully disconnected, and with a common central Great Purpose to serve; memorably summed up by Tom Campbell as “lowering entropy, aka growing towards love.”

I reckon Alex is serving that purpose fairly. Even James D seems to making an effort in that direction. Great stuff!

PS to G: What Alex calls “the bloodlines” - the footloose, long-time super-rich families with zero national loyalties, committed only to their own continuing hyper-wealth (and the power and status that goes with it), and committed to gaining control over the whole planet if they ever can… That certainly seems to me to be the dream of the minority of fools who really believe in their own eugenic ‘superiority’, and in their manifest destiny to treat the rest of us as their cattle. They are fools, though; fooling themselves, flatly wrong, and no more likely ever to realise their flatulent dream than any other band of ridiculous, self-overblown little human farties.

Russia has instructed all state-owned websites and services to switch to the Russian domain name system by 11 March, according to Russian state media outlets.

“This is necessary to protect resources from cyber attacks and the possibility of disconnection from the outside,” the Kommersant Russian newspaper reports.

This seems to be yet another strand in the total cut-off that Russia is making with the American empire.

And for all those who cheer on the demonisation of Russia, you might change your tune in the coming months when you have to pay five or six times more for a litre of fuel, and your household energy bills go through the roof, and there are food shortages, etc.

With regard to the deeper conspiracy here, who knows…? The global economy collapsed (yet again) in the autumn of 2019. We then had two years of total covid nonsense, during which the global economy was totally collapsed; and now we have a handy war with the evil Russians, on whom the economic collapse can be blaimed.

As the old saying goes, you couldn’t make this shit up.

Brent at $140 a barrel this morning, Rob! Almost as high as that time when SLEG-crude went through its all time peak some years back, and oil peaked briefly at $147/bbl. Shit, this meteorite is going to cause some upheaval when it hits, any day now! Collapse of USSR re-mixed…

Btw, SLEG acronyms Sweet, Light Easy-Get: the darling of all crude grades, and in continuous shrinkage since about 2005; yes, even including the fracking flash-in-the-pan, which only ever yielded ultra light, reduced-energy-content crude that’s not much good for anything until blended with heavy grades - such as come from, er, Venezuela. Only way to make diesel from it, for instance… :exploding_head:

: ) I recall very well how you used to fulminate about Delingpole on MLMB/TLN - and rightfully so at the time - he really was an insufferable oaf in his earlier life - but he really has come out swedging during the lockdown - - I think, on account of his being such a loyal establishment lackey for most of his life, now that the scales have dropped his has been quite a savage rounding on those he once sought to impress.

That said, he can still come across as an arse at times, what with all his salivating about fox hunting!!!

If you’ve not heard the discussion he had with Alex T late last year I’d heartily recommend it:

Thanks N. I’ll definitely listen; they’re a good combo.

Alex is Dutch Reformed

So I picked up eventually, K. I have zero knowledge of all the many splinters of christianity. Nor, I confess, any great interest. The later part of that second Delingpole podcast (from earlier in time than the first one offered above) got a bit spooky, with all the discussion of satanism, luciferism and - well, variants on “how many angels”, etc… - tending to sound somewhere in the near-hinterland of religio-bonkers.

Otoh, Alex’s account of how satanic abuses are used to net and control power playerz in the English (and bradwyr Celtic) raj class sound entirely hard-nosed realistic. Exactly the sort of thing that zionistan’s Mossad were - it seems - bank-rolling Epstein and Maxwell to run on powerful USAmericans: entirely credible amoral-psychopath realpolitik.

On the principle that absolutely everyone is allowed a few hot-button/blind-spot irrationalities, leaving the theology aside, Alex continues to impress more and more with his polymathy. Even his religious conviction is copiously understood and clearly rendered. And even James D seems to be de-pratting himself rather commendably; and he has the grace to admit it.

"Shares of major U.S. aerospace and defense companies, which have jumped since Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine last week, should continue to surge higher as global defense spending budgets increase in response to the conflict in eastern Europe, analysts predict.

Share of defense companies like Raytheon and Northrop Grumman could keep rising as the U.S. … [+]

Key Facts

As the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine wreaks havoc on financial markets, defense stocks are outperforming and Wall Street analysts say they’ll keep rising.

The iShares U.S. Aerospace & Defense ETF, the largest of its kind with 33 equity holdings, has risen more than 5% since Russian troops invaded Ukraine on February 24.

Defense stocks have widely soared in that time: Shares of Raytheon Technologies are up nearly 8%, General Dynamics 12%, Huntington Ingalls Industries 14%, Lockheed Martin 18% and Northrop Grumman 22%.

Though the U.S. and other Western allies have stopped short of sending troops to Ukraine, they have been sending weapons made by the likes of Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, such as Javelin anti-tank missiles and Stinger anti-aircraft missiles.

With NATO deploying more troops to member countries in eastern Europe near Ukraine’s border, the ongoing geopolitical tensions should boost defense stocks in the long term as global defense spending is set to increase, according to analysts.

Several Western allies are already planning defense budget increases, including Germany, which said its defense budget would now make up over 2% of its GDP from 1.5%; Japan also plans to increase its 2022 defense budget to more than 1% of GDP for the first time since the 1960s.

Defense stocks have surged since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Crucial Quote:

“With geopolitical tensions likely to remain high, we expect many countries (both inside & outside of NATO) to look to fortify their military capabilities and increase defense budgets on a secular basis,” according to a note from Chris Senyek of Wolfe Research earlier this week.

Key Background:

“As we think about the events that unfolded last week in eastern Europe, there has been a tectonic shift in geopolitical stability,” Bank of America’s Ronald Epstein said in a note this week. “Europe has not seen anything like this since WWII, and the U.S. and its NATO allies now have to focus on managing escalation along Russian borders.” Given Russia’s significant military operations in Ukraine, it is now “worthwhile to reconsider” the effects of the war on global defense budgets, says Morningstar analyst Burkett Huey. With the conflict likely to “encourage more spending,” that will lift the valuations of prime contractors, he predicts. “In a rising defense budget environment, defense stock multiples should typically rise,” adds Epstein.

What To Watch For:

News from Washington, D.C., on U.S. defense spending for fiscal 2023, due in mid-March. Thanks to the “paradigm shift” caused in international relations by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, analysts at Bank of America expect America’s defense spending to rise to between 3.5% and 4% of GDP.

Hi @GKH , according to the latest UK column news report BoJit is sending the Ukraine hundreds of millions to “support” them , some grants, some loans and guarantees which of course means gifts when your lending to a bankrupt state but effectively meaning this dough will just go straight to the warmongering industries in the UK and US.
Of course BoJit and Sunkit don’t give a fig for the British who are already below the poverty line before the tripling of energy prices!

I’d go along with all that @RhisiartGwilym. The Dutch Reformed church was a big force in South Africa in the apartheid era and on my shitlist . I seem to remember the Mother church essentially disowned them, the ravings about Gods Chosen People were blatant, and I see echoes of this in some of his followers on Telegram. But we all have some dust in our eyes, yes.

"As I write this, an esoteric symbol awakened by fascist German ritualists is flashing subliminally across hundreds of thousands—probably millions—of handheld screens. “Liked” and “shared” by liberals and conservatives alike, the photographs bearing that symbol, the Black Sun, depict innocent, compassionate, and smiling fair-haired men and women fighting against a great foreign evil.

Maybe you’ve noticed. Leftists definitely have, or what we used to once properly call leftists. So, too, have the most occult-minded among us, ever-attentive to what Empires are signaling to their over-mediated and intellectually exhausted subjects.

Unfortunately, while such people express deep alarm over this sudden memetic warfare, others—including those whose social media reputations were built dishonestly upon brand-name anti-fascism—happily re-assure you that there’s no real fascism problem in Ukraine. While they might admit that indeed the AZOV battalion—founded upon extreme worship of Stepan Bandera’s anti-communist and antisemitic nationalism—is full of actual Nazis, we’re assured that any worry over fascism is just propaganda from the supposed mastermind of all global fascism himself, Putin.

The real fascists, we are told, are those who criticize NATO, who oppose a no-fly zone, and most of all those who ask any questions at all.

There was once a time that everyday sorts, rather than just Marxists and magicians, felt safe to worry aloud about such things, to express doubt about state-aligned narratives propagated through capitalist media networks. Years of social media smear campaigns against anyone who didn’t use the right words made sure they learned to stay silent. Better to post cat photos than be called a terrorist, better still to call others terrorist to preempt any potential accusation against yourself.

The other day, NATO’s social media accounts posted an image of a Ukrainian woman soldier wearing a Black Sun patch in honor of International Women’s Day, then removed it without apology.

Not weird at all, of course. Not weird, either, the young women soldiers staring passionately into cameras to beckon more international recruits to defend Ukraine against mongol hoards.

What’s happening in Ukraine is horrifying, and so is also what is happening to the rest of our minds. It’s not new, of course: since the birth of mass media, capitalists and the governments they control have experimented with ways to manufacture the “consent of the governed.” It used to be newspapers, then television networks, and now social media. Each taught us not just what to think, but how to think, what kinds of narratives to tolerate, what kinds of narratives to fear.

“I don’t speak television,” an indigenous woman said famously to a reporter who asked her about the death of her native language. She could not communicate with her grandchildren, not because she could not speak English, but because television had created dominant narratives of a world in which her stories no longer mattered.

We’ve collectively become like her grandchildren, but rather than speaking television we now speak Social Media. We narrate the world to ourselves the way it teaches us to narrate the world, to include things which support the capitalist order and exclude things, ideas, and especially people who do not.

The world as it is narrated now is a world of one evil against one good, Russia vs. Ukraine, Putin’s patriarchal frown versus Zelenskyy’s rolled-up liberal sleeves. It’s Oligarchy versus Western Capitalism, our billionaires the products of Democratic processes, their billionaires mere scions of corruption. Even Ukrainian fascists are seen in a kinder light than Russian ones, because Facebook says it’s okay to post only nice things about them now.

The esoteric purpose of the Black Sun is simple, one any occultist worth the title recognizes quickly. It’s nigredo, the blackening, the moment where everything is destroyed in order for something new to arise. It’s a triggered destruction of an old order of meaning, the passage through a moment of meaninglessness, and then into the formation of a new. The Christian equivalent is the Dark Night of the Soul. Gramsci called it the “time of monsters,” of morbid systems.

It’s what happens when you stare at the sun too long, long past the moment of safety. As the extreme light burns into your retina, the sun appears to go black, to become flat, and to spin. You leave with the sense that there is nothing behind the sun, that all meaning is merely constructed. There is no truth, only what man creates.

Man has created some terrifying truths, the worst of which is not war itself, but our justifications for war. The other side is always evil, and therefore our side is always good. No complexity can arise from such a false belief in truth, only obedience, patriotism, and bloodshed. Nuance is a threat, as is any attempt to understand the other side. To de-escalate a conflict is to betray the truth, the nation, the people, the cause.

We are in a time of monsters, a time of fragile truths, a time of a rising Black Sun. Russia started all this, and NATO started it before Russia, but regardless we are told at all costs to support a nation whose official soldiers wear insignia we previously understood as dangerous. It’s still dangerous, as is the fascism it represents, something much stronger and more terrifying even than the right-wing thugs beating up protesters in American streets.

What is rising with that sun is not something which can be fought with social change or educational reform, nor can it be dismissed as merely just “one kind” of fascism.

Few Americans have thought what will become of all those guns they helped buy for the Ukrainian resistance. Zelenskyy released all prisoners with combat experience and gave them weapons, so there are now rapists and murderers running around with guns. Far right militia groups throughout Europe have issued calls to join the fight against Russia in Ukraine, meaning if they survive, they’ll come back with more weapons and more insurgency skills to attack leftists in their home countries.

Your generous American donations are helping that happen.

Worse, though, is how few Americans have probably thought much about what their calls for a no fly zone, the “#closethesky’ demand seen not just on social media but on protest signs, actually means.

That’s not an anti-war chant, of course, but rather a call to escalate the war.

All this to fight for what too many see as an innocent liberal nation standing up against a great illiberal evil, rather than one capitalist nation fighting another capitalist nation supported by a much larger bloc of capitalist nations. It’s capitalism all around, and the much larger question of whether Russia or NATO has the moral authority to bully that part of Europe.

Putin called it “de-nazification,” and we all know that’s a lie, but most missed the horrible joke he was making. In the past decade, Ukraine ramped up their process of de-communization, stripping public buildings of any reference to their Soviet history. Street names were changed, villages re-christened, and most of all communist politics itself made illegal. The most severe places where this occurred were the eastern provinces, the places full of the most “ethnic Russians” who were increasingly treated as second-class citizens.

Of course, so were the Roma and other minorities. One of AZOV’s earliest propaganda videos shows these brave and noble soldiers harrassing old women and tearing down their makeshift homes, much like what the police in the woke bastions of Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco do against the homeless.

Thus Putin’s sick joke, as well as his statement that Ukraine would soon learn what de-communization “really” meant.

What Ukraine has been doing would otherwise count as crimes against humanity. What Russia is doing does as well. There’s no side to take here between them, but our social media mind has taught us all we must take sides. Everything’s a war between freedom and fascism, all the social justice identities against those who want to destroy them. Kamala Harris declares her pronouns on her personal Twitter bio, signaling to us all which side America is really on. Putin locks up gays and protesters, so how is this choice not clear?

Of course, we used to understand that a forced decision is not a decision at all. Coke and Pepsi are both sugar waters, Biden and Trump were both capitalists, Russia and NATO are both imperial capitalist forces. Though we all got good at questioning the “gender binary,” too few have also thought to question the most violent binaries of all.

Too few, but not no one. Christopher Scott Thompson, for example, one of the last remaining anarchists who actually hews to anarchist principles rather than buying into the state-sponsored anarcho-liberalism of Vaush and Alexander Reid Ross, still understands this. Some major socialist parties have tried to hold the line against these false choices as well, but of course they’re all labeled Russian employees by those who speak Social Media.

The Black Sun is the perfect symbol for these false choices, because of what comes after the crisis it triggers. People who experience life-shattering abuse or circumstances of extreme fear cling very tightly to the closest order of meaning presented to them. This is the mechanism of cults and of Stockholm Syndrome. The conversion experience of evangelical Christianity—the manipulated emotions leading to the “rock bottom” of acknowledgement of sin—is based upon this principle. Bomb a middle eastern country into “the stone age” and they all become fundamentalists. Broadcast the twin towers collapsing repeatedly for weeks into every home, and suddenly you’ve got a nation of jingoistic patriots.

It’s thus amusing that liberal “witches” in the United States have called to hex Putin with sunflower seeds. Derived from the (possibly staged or false, just like the ghost of kyiv and the Snake Island “martyrs”) story of an old woman giving a Russian soldier a sunflower seed, the same people who tried to take down Trump with a baby carrot now ritualise a heliotrope.

A black sun is calling to them from their smartphone screens. They answer its call, grasping for stability in a capitalist order crashing down around them.

It’s further amusing that these same would-be magicians try to start a witch war against those who refuse the false choice offered to us all. While urging on an escalation of a war far from the safety of their homes, they repeat the same propaganda of Empire, speaking only in Social Media. Ukrainian soldiers prevent trans women from leaving the country and force them instead to fight as men, but we’re assured that an occultist in Cornwall whose entire life’s work is teaching people how to resist Empire, and a Jewish gay occultist in Tasmania are the real ‘transphobes’ and ‘fascists.’

I’ve heard even that a Marxist druid in the Ardennes is also on the side of the enemy, but he doesn’t speak Social Media any longer, sorry. Neither, though, will I stop writing against this rising black sun, by which I mean the much greater fascist urge infecting those who cynically style themselves enemies of fascism for social media clout.

That fascist urge looks like Liberals seething with desire for war. It looks like “Biden leftists” parroting Bush’s imperial ambitions for the sake of oil. It looks like Reagan-era satanic panics and McCarthy-era Red Scares (“are you now or were you ever a class reductionist?”)

It also looks just like what and how social media trains them to think. Enemies at every gated entrance to their virtual community, threatening to take away their weekend brunch through the horror of the Real. Poverty expands throughout the global south while they slide their thumbs across machines made with their near-slave and slave labor. Black ichor seeps through the walls of their mansion of modern freedoms while they add a nationalist flag next to their pronouns in a social media bio.

Jealous smears might earn you a bit of social capital, but it will do nothing to slow the spread of capitalism’s crises from which you benefit. Nor will it slow the greater contagion of independent thought and honest questions spoken with human voices rather than algorithmic words.

You might start to ask those questions too. You might finally wonder if the choices before you were the only possible choices. You might also wonder what that Black Sun really means, and why social media has been flashing it to you everytime you look.

And maybe, just maybe, you’ll learn to look away from that false sun completely and towards another sun instead, the one which shines upon us all from the sky above, rather than from the screen in your hand.
