Official UK advice on Covid 19

I get bored with posting this link, but it’s still up on the official UK Government web site and has never been updated…

[As of 19 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious disease (HCID) in the UK]((https://www.gov.uk/guidance/high-consequence-infectious-diseases-hcid#status-of-covid-19)

I’ll repeat the URL, because I’m not familiar with the way this board functions on a technical level, and I don’t know if the above link will show up:

This advice has not altered since it was issued in March, just days before Bojo brought in the lockdown.

Can anyone tell me what all this nonsense is about?

Oh, and within days of announcing a historically unprecedented lockdown, Bojo came down with covid 19 (Bojo being a proven liar, crook and charlatan), Hancock the Health Secretary also came down with covid 19 (ditto with Bojo - these people are crooks and complete nonentities), and of course Prince Charles also came down with it, and we all suspect how mad Prince Charles is.

It’s amazing, isn’t it, at just how many celebs have been struck by covid 19, when the vast majority of ordinary people have no experience of it whatsoever, yet because of Project Fear they will still allow their lives to be ruined by complete cockroaches.

And isn’t it amazing that all the people you mention (and prince Charles is in the really, really dangerous age group) and all the “celebs” that have had the Covids, all make quick recoveries and show no lasting effects, aka Donald Trump. Perhaps they never had it and it was all part of the plandemic, or perhaps they did have it and there quick recovery proving that it really is a plandemic.

Er - don’t forget this nobody pleb! I reckon I had the illness - whateverTF it really is: 3 days of mild discomfort, obliterated in that time by chugging big doses of C (at least 30 grams per day, in a quart or so of water, shaken-and-sipped round the clock; higher doses still are fine; no known risk from them). Symptoms - such as they were - were consonant with a respiratory illness, particularly those which covid is supposed to cause, and dealt with by a patient supposedly in the most at-risk age group.

It took just a little more time than it has taken me this past quarter century to see off early warning signs of colds and flu, without ever once succumbing to the period of physical distress normally associated with them. These - always marginal - early warnings normally vanish overnight. So - three days for a particularly nasty variant of whatever these respiratory endemics really are seems about right.

It doesn’t surprise me at all that rich gits can get well quickly - or never get ill in the first place - from covid, considering that understanding of how to prevent/crush it with well-known, already widely-available, cheap and proven-safe specifics is already widespread, amongst those who really want to know. That would apply in spades, of course, to the doctors of the rich and powerful - if they know what’s good for them, their careers and their bank balances…

I agree RG - and that’s what you’d think, but it doesn’t seem to work like that! Why for instance did Boris not get given HCQ so that he wouldn’t get to the point of LRT infection and need to visit hospital? And why the hell didn’t Trump get HCQ and AZM instead of those fancy drugs, other than to placate the health industry and give their shares a boost? (we don’t actually know that he didn’t get the treatment)
They said he went to hospital “out of an abundance of caution” - and I don’t think his oxygen levels merited it, which was why the doctors didn’t admit to it.
Incidentally my feeling is that someone spiked the salmon canapes with Coronavirus at the Rose Garden, because sure as hell they didn’t all catch it from the air. I don’t know what’s wrong with the journos, who question the most stupid and obvious things but ignore the Navalnychoks staring them in the face. It seems an impossibly unlikely thing that there would be this disabling outbreak at the heart of the white house at such a critical time.
There was also what looked awfully like a “far right terrorist” attempt to kidnap a democratic mayor of Michigan, on which I heard in a report, once, that one of the group had got worried about what they were planning to do, and spilled the beans to the FBI. Classic FBI set up, and all “foiled” so we have no idea if the plans were real.

But PS Rob, thanks for posting this, as I have thought of it a few times. The recent meme that the virus is transmitting through the air does not go with this I think, where aerial transmission elevates a disease’s status to more dangerous. So just more evidence of spin and trickery. This is the same ONS that admitted that up to 89% of cases of COVID could be going unnoticed back in May, but didn’t think to tell us till now.
