Norwegian experts say deadly blood clots were caused by the AstraZeneca covid vaccine

“Our theory that this is a powerful immune response most likely triggered by the vaccine, has been confirmed”, says professor and chief physician Pål Andre Holme. Three Norwegian health workers under the age of 50 have been hospitalized. One is dead.

“The reason for the condition of our patients has been found”, chief physician and professor Pål Andre Holme announced to Norwegian national newspaper VG today.

Holme led the work to find out why three health workers under the age of 50 were hospitalized with serious blood clots and low levels of blood platelets after having taken the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine. One of the health workers died on Monday.

The experts have worked on a theory that it was in fact the vaccine which triggered and unexpected and powerful immune response - a theory they now believe they have confirmed.

“Our theory that this is a powerful immune response which most likely was caused by the vaccine has been found. In collaboration with experts in the field from the University Hospital of North Norway HF, we have found specific antibodies against blood platelets that can cause these reactions, and which we know from other fields of medicine, but then with medical drugs as the cause of the reaction”, the chief physician explains to VG.

“Nothing but the vaccine can explain why”

When asked to clarify why he says “most likely” in the quote, Holme confidently responds that the reason for these rare cases of blood clots has been found.

“We have the reason. Nothing but the vaccine can explain why these individuals had this immune response”, he states.

VG also asks how Holme can know that the immune response is not caused by something other than the vaccine.

“There is nothing in the patient history of these individuals that can give such a powerful immune response. I am confident that the antibodies that we have found are the cause, and I see no other explanation than it being the vaccine which triggers it”, he responds.

The three affected health workers all came into the hospital with a very rare condition:

They had acute pain
They had blood clots in unusual places, such as their stomachs and brains
In addition, they had bleedings and low levels of platelets

EMA expected to conclude later today

The Norwegian Medicines Agency does not wish to comment on the conclusions from Oslo University Hospital.

“We have to look at the results first, I don’t want to comment on this now”, says Medical Director Steinar Madsen to NTB, The Norwegian News Agency.

The Safety Committee of the European Medicines Agency are expected to conclude on the matter later today, and Madsen says he awaits their results.

AstraZeneca also declines to comment the conclusion of the Norwegian experts.

“We await the decisions of the EMA later today before we will comment on this”, Media Relations Director Christina Malmberg Hägerstrand says to NTB.

Though there’s a lot riding on this, there’s no sign of this news breaking yet on mainstream.

With such propaganda on their side, it’s very difficult to make people sit up and take the risks of vaccines seriously. Compare that with how the risks from the coronavirus are reported!

Yes to both points…I’ve not seen a situation like this. Even at the time of the invasion of Iraq, people were able to point to a lot of pro-war hype. There was a constant barrage, but it met resistance which had to be acknowledged. However here there is a single narrative, and a few idiots - or ‘clots’ as in the Mirror headline (well that will teach him for looking in the Mirror  ).

The Norwegian researchers say the cause of the clots was immune system related. They submitted their report to the European Medicines Agency yesterday; the EMA promptly issued reassurances about the vaccine (with caveats down the reports about not really being sure at all), later claiming the Norwegian report was too late.

The WSJ is in on the act:

German, Norwegian researchers claim rare auto-immune reaction is behind dozens of cases of brain blood clotting, and suggest as a possible treatment for it

A few hours later the WSJ is back to the main message - the vaccine is SAFE!

The EMA - and the media in general - is saying 1) There’s not a risk (phew!) and 2) Anyway, the risk is outweighed by the benefits. Two contradictory messages to appeal to different viewpoints.

Today I heard two bods on the radio talking about the huge importance of ‘the good news’ from the EMA, as if there could be no question about its reliability - even though we can see the man behind the curtain turning the handle!

Most people don’t suspect this level of narrative control, but many will of course see that if that ‘nonexistent’ risk is outweighed by the benefits, it will be outweighed even more by a safer vaccine! I think this opposition to the Oxford-AZ vaccine is happening in many countries, apart from in the UK.

The EMA - and the media in general - is saying 1) There’s not a risk (phew!) and 2) Anyway, the risk is outweighed by the benefits. Two contradictory messages to appeal to different viewpoints.

Contradictory messages indeed! Also what’s surprising (well not really) is that in the second point there is actually some sort of cost-benefit analysis done, superficially perhaps, but at least alluded to. Namely, that there will be fewer deaths from vaccines than from covid. (I’ve seen that argument repeatedly on TLN.) Yet when it comes to imposing or continuing lockdown and social distancing measures, there is no such discussion. It’s like the measures are an inconvenience at worst.

Hi @Willem

Indeed. The biggest frustration that I have is that the real discussion of what actually works (functioning track trace and supported isolation) which would actually stop the spread of the illness while avoiding most of the psychological, economic and indeed health problems of lockdowns never really gets a look in. It’s as if the only options are lockdown or do nothing.

Grrrrr

Isn’t the illness already stopping its own spread, simply by fading back into endemic status, as they always have up to now, whatever the obviously-manipulated ‘tests’ may be getting scammed to show?

We acknowledge, in this thread, that the perception manipulation is blatant, yet we balk at the idea that, behind the continuing bullshit blizzard, there may not be any excess deaths happening at all any longer; if, indeed, there ever were (and please, don’t anyone show me stats which demonstrate that there were, until you can absolutely guarantee the stats’ honest provenance - which I assert that no-one can just now).

The ‘epidemic’, such as it was (never much), is now over. Slowly-accreting hindsight already suggests that this is the real situation, behind the obvious, naked TDS-generating propaganda scam. That - the scam - will continue, naturally, in order to protect the evident WealthPowerStatus-grab that’s going on. But surely there’s no need for sceptics to assist that criminal racket by pretending that there’s still anything in it that can be pretended at all plausibly to be the truth.

The real situation is that no experimenrtal injectables are needed at all. Despite the wall of naked lies, we know that they’re not proven safe by actually-adequate testing; and even the claim that they work is being walked back by the manufacturing hucksters themselves. They do NO substantive good, except to the racketeer’s money hoards, whilst at the same time causing significant damage to the trusting fools who line up to take them - exactly the pattern that’s already well established with the annual flu-shots racket. And - as with all the other annual flus - the only genuine treatment needed is to bolster the natural strength of people’s immune system by prudent health-maintenance measures, together with well-proven helpful generics to assist the recovery of the vulnerable minority, all of which are already boringly well-know - but not particularly profitable to the BPh gangster-criminals.

When, some time down the line, a critical mass of TDS-sufferers drifts back into sanity and this whole artificial storm in a teacup dies down again, that’s the picture that’s going to emerge, I suspect.

The ‘benefits’ all seem to be of the type “we will reduce the use of beatings” . . .

Much as I hope this is proved correct, the controlling mechanisms - technological, regulatory, ideological - will have been (are) embedded. Having them removed could be a slow, attritional, process. I won’t say impossible - too depressing - but once normalized, these impositions, to keep us safe natch, won’t just wither away.

Yeah, and you could say the same about the determined lack of interest in treatment, both reactive and preventative. I also recall that that the word came very early on from on high that there was no cure for covid-19 (presumably from the WHO). The medical treatment world was to accept that suddenly there was no way of treating a virus, and not to even think of anti-virals. Unlearn them!
Another interesting instance was the (again, very early) warning not to use steroids in care of seriously ill with covid. At the time I was impressed and wondered how they ‘knew’ - but I presumed this was some knowledge about worse than usual side effects when steroids were used for covid respiratory illnesses. When the Recovery trial discovered a benefit in sick patients from steroids, the Dr in charge of the study said he had had a lot of people contacting him telling him not to use them.
In the end what was discovered was a simple Rediscovery of steroids. The advice had been based on nothing, other than a desire perhaps to stop treatment. Dexamethasone was hailed as a ‘life-saving’ drug but no-one asked why the advice was issued to desist from this rather natural choice in those serious covid hospital situations…

It all adds up to a desire from the outset in some quarters (high ones, evidently) to manipulate and control the virus treatment and response - with ‘treatment’ meaning ‘wait for vaccines’ and ‘response’ meaning building robust levers for political social control. Nothing that’s not been said thousands of times before, but the initial attitudes to treatments, tracing, PPE and isolation planning, and those curious mask u-turns paint a rather ominous picture of some purpose among the mayhem.

Yes, at the very least T&T should have been tried properly. But that never worked here due to incompetence and corruption (and I’m inclined to believe they didn’t want it to work.)

Having said that, it seems to me that for T&T to be possible one needs relatively few infections, many medical people on the ground (like in Cuba) or a population that can be fully traced by the government through mobile phones (like in China). A small spread-out population also helps. It may have been possible here very early on, but not sure once the number of infections got to 10s of thousands.

Yes, it’s difficult not to come to that conclusion. Also amazing that there is so little deviation from these unprecedented measures across the Western world.

The only real question about the covid scam is how much of it was planned beforehand, by conspirators such as Gates, and how much was just chancers leaping onto the band-waggon as they spotted the disaster-cap opportunities, once they-all realised that the big scam had been set going.

Pretty clear that, at the least, the WHO has suffered regulatory capture, and is now to be treated as an enemy to the common citizens of the world, conniving with criminal gangsters in mass medical experimentation on uniformed victims - as seems to have been going on in Africa for some time, but which is now getting spread around the world, with a view to seeing just how much control can be laid firmly and permanently on the stampeded TDS suckers, before they wake up.

The state of play seems to be that the vac$ine$ don’t prevent infection nor do they confer immunity but they do/might mitigate the worst symptoms. I’m struggling to see how this is in any way superior to prophylaxis (e.g. vitamin regime to bolster immunity) or to treatments-that-dare-not-be-named (e.g. I dare not say). I guess a vested interest in pharmaceuticals helps one to crystallise ones thinking.

You may be right about T&T @Willem, but the massive investment in this, here in the UK, with so little to show for it, could be simple robbery. but it may also be because the technical infrastructure is much more extensive than needed because it’s true purpose is otherwise.

“Alas, this proved terribly expensive but look what this system can do! Be a shame to waste it.”

Might take a few more months of lockdown and beta testing to iron out those glitches…
