Norway - 'Risk of dying from AstraZeneca higher than of COVID-19'

It’s a bit of a surprise to see this put quite so boldly.

The table below (about 80 mostly smaller populations omitted) shows Norway has quite low recent, per-population deaths (79th) among Europe/developed countries. (3rd last column). As it also has low deaths overall, it’s understandable that with a concrete risk emerging from the Astrazeneca vaccine they have rethought. They don’t seem to see that as a suggestion there are likely to be other more general risks.

India’s situation doesn’t look so bad on paper; main problem seems to be its poor level of health facilities, now being overwhelmed by relatively low numbers.
However ominously, high cases gradient (1.6 ie currently exponential) and deaths gradient (1.9) indicate it is likely to get a lot worse - it’s a big population to be at such a risk.
