I see you. If we can be sent reeling every few weeks/months it definitely takes the focus off such truths as how packaged foodstuffs are 10% smaller for 150% the price (random figures but you get the gist).
Right on cue the ‘government’ is yet again going to rejig state ‘benefits’ for people who are long-term ill/disabled so that only the truly deserving poor aren’t forced into some shitey zero hours precarity. I suppose we are not quite at San Francisco levels of destitution… (Tent cities there have been magicked away for a bit so that Xi Jinping isn’t offended…)
I hadn’t heard about the Holocaust Museum. Like there’s any chance whatsoever we might forget about this. (Even Martin Amis felt compelled to write an atrocity novel about it, IIRC the title was The Zone Of Interest. I read it, because it was Martin Amis. It wasn’t as bad as Lionel Asbo, but still vile.)
The Herzog Mein Kampf schtick really incensed me, they know that we know that it is lame to the nth degree. I usually use Zuckerberg’s platform merely for interactions with real people that I know and can tolerate
