From the ongoing Dawn Sturgess inquiry. Apparently Yulia and her dad were sprayed by a possibly unknown assailant whilst sitting in Zizzi restaurant, a few minutes before they collapsed. Nothing to do with doorknobs etc.

If the forensics are above question even when contradicted by the victim, what’s the point of the inquiry.

Perhaps it’s my confirmation bias but it seems that at every slight possibility of something not in line with the official narrative leaking out, the moves to cover up are ‘in your face’. The 10 minute delay of broadcast (not so that MI6 can tamper with it), no phones, smart watches, no visual identification of the witness, no appearance of the Skripals, and even some rapid minor corrections by the questioner when something sus is given in evidence.
I haven’t listened to the entire video, but if this was a trial and there was a serious cross-examination of the evidence he gave, it would become clear there was plenty of guiding of the investigation and the questioning did nothing to add to what has been in the public domain for some time. There would also be many others who no doubt will not appear at the enquiry, that a defense team would call to explain all the unexplained.
To Quote Dances With Bears, “Neither Yulia nor Sergei Skripal has been asked by the police, by the Inquiry lawyers, or by Hughes to confirm or deny whether Yulia’s recollection of March 8, 2018, of the spray attack in Zizzi’s Restaurant is still their evidence of what happened to them”
Never mind, the tax payer will cover the cost of all those flunkies in dark suits sitting thinking about last nights sex, forthcoming holidays, or what is on the lunch menu, the Russians will be found guilty, the Skripals remain dissappeared, and the judge will get his knighthood. Business as usual.

Pains me to say this but they are dead
It’s bonkers that the direct testimony of the principal victim was dismissed as hearsay or leading the witness.
How difficult would it have been to check the CCTV footage from Zizzi or any of the other diners what transpired?
Of course this makes the false assumption that the UK gov was in any way trying to uncover the truth.
