Bayer having bought Monsanto for $60bn, has now lost consecutive lawsuits for Glyphosate damage. Losses include court judgements for $1.25 million, seven days later $175 million, 3 days later $332 million.
An attempt to get indemnity via the backdoor in the US, the bill was overturned. However, in the EU (and no doubt the UK), by a proposed labelling issue, they have ensured themselves indemnity and the EU has allowed this for the next 10 years.
