While reading the ever excellent Meaning In History…
… I clicked a link to RT and was surprised to find that it worked. As did the whole website.
According to that very source cloudflare, that so-soothing net nanny that pretends to be a security service, is down.
Not saying they’re connected, maybe the very-fast-now dumping of project Ukraine is being subtly signalled by TPTB no longer blocking nasty dictator Putin …?
Am viewing this on a SFW laptop so no VPNs (also spying tools) or other funny stuff because what, really, is the point.
No, not a dream. Cloudfare, “… that so-soothing net nanny that pretends to be a security service …” is or at least was down. The real problem with Cloudfare is they take over the DNS for the sites they “protect”. Several fairly large French sites were down completely because of Cloudfare.
Still seems to be there today and since we are told that CloudFlare was fixed I guess this is one of those quirky things.
P.S. Do not watch the ‘My son’ video by Kire Starmre whatever you do. Or go on: it’s hilarious, especially when he refers to visits to ‘the Arsenal’. I genuinely didn’t laugh even this much the day it leaked that Cameron had porked that poor dead pig.
I’ve had access to RT on a fairly regular basis for ever. Now and again I get ‘this site can’t provide a secure connection’ so I click ‘reload’ and get it, though occasionally it still won’t load. Ditto for individual articles. Nothing special about my set-up, bog standard laptop with Windows 10.
