An interesting article RG, that makes some very good points. Some good common sense attitudes to life and risk as a human ape on this planet. However I have a big problem with articles that characterise this virus as
Virtually harmless
Or that
Virtually no one dies from [covid]
As so often with the off-g folks they take a good premise and over-egg it to the point where it starts to look like willful blindness.
It’s obvious that something very bad is sweeping through the world. Excess mortality has spiked massively over the long term average despite the regular daily activity all but stopping. Loads of people seem to be left with long term effects after recovering from this virus.
The most one could say is that we don’t yet know exactly how deadly this virus is, or what the serious long term effects are…

Yes, harking back to dan’s most recent account of what he went through, is still going through months afterwards (including, as he admits, his fearing during the worst of it that he might die), plus the whole long-haul syndrome afflicting a significant number of other relatively young, fit people, it’s clear already that there’s something more to this disease than just an ordinary seasonal flu.
I do doubt, though, that we can already be sure of a large, unusual spike in excess deaths. I class that assertion as still unproven for the time being. The figures have been so buggered about by chisellers that we really don’t know yet what they are truly. That’s one of those waitandsee things which will trickle out over time, after all the axe-grinding efforts of the powers-that-shouldn’t-be have finished milking it, and the whole panic has gone the way of all dross.
Eventually, sober voices looking back over the crisis will come to a different conclusion, I suspect. It will be argued over for some years, as usual, and will eventually peter out. But until then I reserve judgement on whether a lot more people than usual have died because of the Sars-Cov2 virus. I don’t even acknowledge - yet - that there IS a virulent novel pathogen around. That too has yet to be demonstrated in any credible way. At the moment, all we have to go on is organised, tendentious panic-shrieking, driven by unadmitted agendas. We still don’t know exactly how the long-haul syndrome comes about, though I don’t doubt it’s reality.

Meantime, Off-G does a good vigorous job of maintaining an entirely viable - probably nearer-to-the-truth - narrative for people to hold on to. I read them constantly to be able to maintain that understanding: that the current - Western - official narrative is shot through with pernicious bollocks, and we-all need to resist it with vim, until finally the truth has been cleansed of all the wilful deceits contaminating it currently.
