Left v Right has had its day

While this is US-centric, the typology developed in the following piece by Addison Reeves is very relevant in these days of gazing at pigs, then humans, and being unable to see any difference.

The distinction she draws between attitudes and ideologies is key. The quadrants of her typology broadly classify ideologies. Within these fields there are attitudes which break down into simple binaries: you query lockdowns → must be a Lawrence Fox Stan; you point to preponderance of deaths during the ‘pandemic’ among the old, the ill, and the fat → Eugenicist Scum!

Social media like/dislike signals have become the template for ALL discourse. You’re either with us or you’re against us. You accept all aspects of Trans activism in the face of biological fact, or you’re an oppressor.

OH was recently promoting reusable sanitary towels at a Pride event - every jerkwater town has these nowadays - and was taken to task for using the word ‘woman’ instead of ‘person’ in relation to menstruation. I suggested if this comes up again to employ shrieks of ‘speciesist’ while yelling that other beings in fact menstruate too.

But that would be very mammalophile, chickens have feelings too. (And quite a lot more common sense than the pinky-blue pronoun zealots.)

The point being that squabbles over these stances completely blinds the adversaries to the overarching frameworks, buttressed by propaganda and taken-for-granted ‘truths’.
