Link below to Part 5 of Larry Romanoff’s extended essay on propaganda, especially as developed and refined in the USA.

Note1: To all colleagues and friends reading this, note the ubiquity of US (in Britain, that would have to be USuk) truth-bending through this all-penetrating system of organised lying, as sketched in the early part of Larry’s essay. Think for a moment: How do any of us get hold of absolutely hundred-percent trustworthy facts and - particularly - statistics? Can YOU see a way? I can’t. The lie-rot is universal, everywhere we look; nothing seems to be exempt!! Which is why I carry a bucket of salt with me, intellectually speaking, at all times…

Note 2: If you find yourself agreeing with the - apparently undeniable - realfacts which Larry details in the middle and latter part of this essay, then clearly you are an ‘anti-semite’, as re-defined by the recent organised effort to distort the meaning of that kneejerk-ideogram; though of course for almost all of us, the proper, real-world, honest-lexicon description should be: non-anti-semitic anti-zionist. Just as any decent soul would be anti-apartheid and anti-nazi.

This essay underlines why I’m so resistant to accepting as established truths analyses of current events supposedly buttressed by lots of cited ‘facts’. Our problem is that we are surrounded by, indeed drowned in, arrant lies masquerading persuasively (to the unwary!) as solidly-established ‘facts’; the long-standing, continuously-vomiting lie-machine also known as the Permanent Bullshit Blizzard. This engulfs us all our lives, from childhood on. Only serious hermits can avoid its slimy creeping into our unconscious assumptions. Are you one? No, me neither.

My response is less than perfect, but it’s all I can do in the circumstances, and it’s at least conducive to getting sound hunches about what’s really going on:

  • Waitandsee (on the principle that despite the best efforts of the professional liars, the truth does trickle out eventually).

  • Also: learn to listen seriously and exactly to your intuitive faculty which, when carefully exercised, polished, and used with precise care, as described by such modern Western re-pioneers of this function in the West as Tom Campbell and Russell Targ, is at least as effective as your rational faculty at giving you insights into the truth.

  • And also: always keep your gambler’s odds-calculating faculty working continuously!

For example: when surfing through the - often copious - btl responses to Off-Guardian articles at their website, I get an unmistakable sense of quite a few contributors who smell of the multiple-personality software agents described by Larry in this essay, trying to flood Off-G with confusion, distraction and irrelevance. Not hard to spot it, once you realise that it exists. The ‘smell’ - in the psychic sense - is pretty reliable, despite the professional liars’ best efforts. Eat your heart out, AI! You’re never going to have even an inkling of the intuitive faculty…! :smile:

Think I’ll have to read the whole series, looks excellent.

Would appreciate any links/titles of texts for the authors you cite Rhis i.e. Campbell/Targ. I will of course invoke search engine but maybe a focused dip would be better than diving straight in.

As for the OffG BTL! Well, yes, it just seems to get worse and worse and the only way I’ve found to make any sense of it is to keep my own comments very few and far between, and to sort comments by vote. This tends to marginalise the sowers of confusion (literally: the left-aligned comments tend to be readable and the replies to replies, where the bs proliferates, are indented right). Even so, more than ten minutes or so immersed in all the … stuff… is plenty for this practised lurker.

Hi K. Best place to get into Tom Campbell’s oeuvre is his website: ‘My Big TOE’. The best way to get an exact precis of Tom’s theory is to view the sequence of videos of his weekend course at the University of Calgary, a few years back. There’s a huge array of material at Tom’s site - and it takes a LOT of surfing, study and rumination before the enormity of what he’s asserting really sinks in. But it’s extremely persuasive, to my mind. The Calgary weekend - about 15 hours of video!! - is well worth the effort, if you take it in stages. And you’ll come out of it with some basic instructions - and practice - of the art of distant psi-healing, which is one of the many ways to begin to exercise and refine your intuitive capacity. But beware, as Hippocrates said: “The art is long.” :).

Here’s a good intro to Russ Targ. A notable pioneer - or re-pioneer of old, repudiated and lost wisdom - of these essential understandings about the basic nature of reality. Note that both Tom and Russ are fully-qualified, veteran professionals of hard physics, with Tom being a mathematician too. Yet both took to these matters, as we all can once we give it a go, like the proverbial ducklings. Note, for example, Russ’s account of how they discovered Hella Hamid’s remarkable talent, which - until she tried it - she hadn’t realised that she possessed:

PS: As both Tom and Russell associated with Bob Monroe, and Tom was actually trained by Bob how to do Out-Of-Body on demand, you might like to look into Bob’s book - a global best-seller in its time - called ‘Journeys Out Of The Body’. A real eye-opener, to be read very much in association with reading/hearing the testimonies of Near Death Experience survivors. Their two fields of experience are closely connected; one and the same thing, really.
