Interesting to see Ritter writing again. Not sure I totally agree with his analysis, simply because the Russians seen to have incredible restraint. Even the loss of Russian aircraft to the Turks (after they saved Erdogan’s neck in the Washington backed coup, no less) and also to Israel wasn’t enough for the gloves to come off.
The Saker had said numerous times that Russia is unlikely to get involved in a shootout with Israel on Syria or Iran’s behalf. The Russian relationship with Israel is pretty complex after all…
