One of the reasons I stayed away from Twitter for many years (in spite of having found it very educational during the brief period I did use it) is that its interface (like that of Facebook and, I think, reddit) seems to be perversely designed to be difficult to interact with. But it could well be a case of the bad workman blaming his tools.
Be that as it may, can someone tell me if there is a way to display a tweet clearly, other than by taking a screenshot, cropping it, and uploading it, as I have done here? It is a very tedious process, and not one I want to repeat often.
This is what appears when I try to use OneBox (i.e. just post the bare URL):
That isn’t even the tweet in question, even though it is the right URL! So here is the laboriously-obtained screenshot:
That’s funny! I did click on the little downward arrow for “embedding” the tweet, but for some reason I didn’t proceed with copying the HTML code. I had definitely tried the same thing with another tweet before this one, and gone as far as copying the HTML code that time, but for some reason I had concluded that copying the HTML code here didn’t work. Perhaps it had something to do with a photo or video? Anyway, it does work with this one. Thanks!

I am not
exaggerating when I say I have felt more welcome, respected, and able to
do my job as an NGO observer in more professional conditions at a
prison campus in Turkey than I have at Woolwich Crown Court or the Old
Bailey Court in London. I am embarrassed for my country.

I’ve got most of
Johnson’s guidelines on here, forgive the abrupt end, either my editing
skills are lacking or Johnson got suddenly bored and ran off. pic.twitter.com/z7nqnNdvg5
