Is Bojo going off script to try and save his political career, in which case he will probably have ‘an unfortunate accident’ sometime soon.

For what its worth, my feeling is that he is being set up for a fall and he’ll be blamed for the next rise in “cases”. I also think he is not quite as stupid as Columbo, so he knows that he is likely to be the fall guy and has been tipped that he will be looked after. Evidence for this? None. Just my gut feel
