From last year I think.
Rav Arora is an ambitious, thoughtful young podcaster who gained attention during covid, generally challenging the establishment narratives.
Marc Cuban is a billionaire entrepreneur. Their paths crossed on matters covtd, especially vaccination, when Cuban, who seems to own a football or baseball team, insisted all of the team and audiences too were vaxed.
Arora was pleased with his accomplishment and released this in bits and pieces, much via paywall, but how he’s posted the whole discussion, which helpfully is indexed and linked.
The wide ranging discussion lasted nearly 3 hours I think the covid/vaccine part starts at about 1hr.40.
While Arora looks diminutive, Cuban seems larger than life. Though, I much prefer Arora’s analytical, evidence-based style to the brash billionaire’s snap judgements, yet I’m not sure he did very well, allowing the confident Cuban to assert and base his opinions on official information; To cede this ground at the outset seems seems illogical, as Cuban was literally forcing his views on other people, who had various levels of (mis) trust in the official figures and claims. I suspect Arora wouldn’t have won this part on points; missing if not an open goal then clear scoring chances.
Just posting out of interest…I’ll get round to most of it hopefully. Not sure I will be able to forgive Mr Arora if he loses the argument on compulsory vaccination on his second attempt though! (they had a prior exchange of emails)
