His Lights Stayed on During Texas’ Storm. Now He Owes $16,752

When collapse meets “free” market capitalism

“My savings is gone,” said Scott Willoughby, a 63-year-old Army veteran who lives on Social Security payments in a Dallas suburb. He said he had nearly emptied his savings account so that he would be able to pay the $16,752 electric bill charged to his credit card — 70 times what he usually pays for all of his utilities combined. “There’s nothing I can do about it, but it’s broken me.”

Gangster-cap demonstrates its utter bloody uselessness again, in the business of supplying basic facilities to citizens on a basis of equity and reasonable costs. Thank god this is all one more sign that the Anglozionist empire - the current great stronghold of this kind of gangsterism - is in the accelerating late stages of its collapse. Roll on to something better! (Even - whisper it! - something socially-responsible…!!!)

From Greg Palast, a real journo, who always does his homework. A good analysis of what is and went wrong. “So, the solution to the deadly darkness is obvious: More Roosevelt, less Bush”

Palast is always fantastic - thanks!

Always? He used to be fundamentally unsound on 11/9. Don’t know if he’s caught up since.

Huh - I didn’t know that… Well, I guess everyone has their blind spots!

Cheers

Hi @RhisiartGwilym . I didn’t know that either. So many with blind spots ?
