BBC radio news wasn’t in step this morning - it was a step ahead, announcing the invasion had finally happened, followed by sanctions-something, and the news that Germany had halted the Nord Stream2 pipeline. It was hours later that I looked round and realized that nothing relating to an invasion had actually happened. Perhaps a Russian hat blew over the border

Ha ha – funny how they suddenly care so much about those Minsk agreements. And since when have they cared about international law?

Well, Vlad, in a carefully-coordinated, long-considered move, did as the Russian federal parliament, the Duma, has just voted for, and recognised the two Donbas republics as independent sovereign states; and then executed a further move, which they had requested, just as he did with Syria, and sent peace-keeper Russian forces into their territories, and straight to the Line of Contact where the Kiev forces are massed.
And then, the Ukie shelling of the LDNR republics, which has been going on for months, killing and damaging constantly - during an agreed ‘ceasefire’! - and which had got very heavy the past few days… suddenly ceased!
I guess that’s not quite nothing. And naturally, all the eunuchoid shriekers in the Western pocket-pol/mediawhore assemblage-of-shame were able to start shouting: “Invasion! Invasion! Sanctions! Sanctions!” and doing their ineffectual eunuchy worst in response.
This worst will amount to nothing more than sanctions, to which the Russians have said they’re resigned, and which they will shrug off; to their ultimate net benefit, as has happened with all the previous sanctions.
See what I mean about Western eunuchs? That’s the most fearsome response the fools can manage.
This will mean that Minsk 2 is abandoned finally by the patience-exhausted Russians, and the Donbas republics - at the very least - will now be detached permanently from Country 404, and will most probably follow Krim back into reunification with Russia, once the time is right - and the Donbas people have voted for it, as the Krimers did.
As Saker, Martyanov, Orlov and others have been pointing out, this was a carefully-considered, pre-planned move, and is just one in a whole sequence of moves which will - eventually - force a crestfallen and chastened Anglozionist empire to give Russia the security guarantees - and NATO force-withdrawals in Eastern Europe - which they are now demanding with steadily-increasing determination. With China’s steady backing…
The game is still afoot; and as many informed commentators have been pointing out, all the escalation-dominance is controlled by Russia - and China. ‘The greatest military power in the history of the world’ is castrated. The Swampies have no effective response; and their Cobra-babbling midget-clown underlings in Paedominster are even less able to do anything effective against these moves. All the Swampies have got is the further suspension of NS2, for which they’ve been angling; whereby the idiot German ‘leadership’ have shot Germany in both feet, to no purpose of any use to them at all. Jesus what a shitshow!

I don´t know whether to laugh or cry, RG. If there were an Oscar for the most inept “leader” in Europe, it would be a toss-up between Bojo, v d Leyen, Stolltenbert, Truss, Baerbrock, Scholz, O´Macron, and a few others. As you say, the Germans have scored a massive own-goal, and if Russia says enough is enough and cuts off gas and trade with the EU, then the latter is doomed.
I still hope that the European people finally wake up and see where the anglo-zio leadership is leading them, and revolt. But I suspect they won´t, they are complicit in all their leaders´crimes. As Austin Fitts says their attitude is; Do what you want, so long as their is something in it for us, and you tell us some half-credible story so that we can tell ourselves that we are good people, and sleep easily at night.
I wonder if the Germans have a word for “schadenfreude”.
