Not sure if this should go in media or environment as it really fits in both, but I think its highlighting of the media manipulation and gaslighting seen during the Australian Black Summer bushfires in 2019/early 2020 and now in the California fires places it more appropriately in Media. It is an excellent summary of how the media managed to keep the conversation well and truly off climate change as the cause of the catastrophic and unprecedented Australian fires by blaming everything else especially arson and the Greens etc (with additional video links and links to articles). It really is a description of what happened exactly as I remember it happening…

As the crisis worsens, they will look for a scapegoat. The fires will be called arson (regardless of their cause) and blamed on either environmentalists or the latest progressive boogey man. In your case, I’m guessing Antifa or BLM. 5/11

hehe. It was only a matter of time before such rumours popped up. I’m still keeping an eye out for more.
And yes, I find the cookie policy of most sites too exhausting to negotiate, and have more than once just given up and clicked back. I’ll try and do a better cut n paste job
