Everyman, the metre, rhyme and emphasis is all really well done.
In my opinion, though, itās let down by the accompanying music, which doesnāt match the tempo/volume of the words. This might be an audio issue with Dailymotion.
I think Right Said Fred might well be interested in your piece (with regard to musical arrangement). It might be worth contacting them. Theyāre really nice guys.
Hi Rob, thanks so much for taking the time to listen and give some feedback. I agree 100% with your comment, I recorded the song in one 10 1/2 minute take with one acoustic guitar on a Zoom H4 and it shows! Iāll try and contact Right Said Fred, Iād love some established musicians to record the song.

PS: Liked the way the lyrics were subtitled, otherwise people with my defective hearing acuity might not have got them.

I think itās brilliant. My only criticism is the last line in each verse of the subtitles tends to be obscured when it drops down behind the āMovie Makerā logo/message.
Iāve emailedl it to 20 really clued up friends so hopefully itāll travel far and wide!

iāll explain briefly about the āmovie makerā message. Having an old computer with no movie maker on it I searched and downloaded the first movie maker I saw. I laboriously did the lyrics, not knowing how to do them non laboriously, and then clicked to āmake the filmā, and not until THEN did I get the message that the film would be created with a watermark, unless I paid ā¬40.
So I published it with the watermark, thinking that after I get feedback Iāll do it again either buying a movie maker or finding a free one without watermark.
I agree it messes up the lyrics.

Everyman, whatās not widely known is that Right Said Fred (formed by brothers Fred and Richard Fairbrass) were the biggest selling British act ever in the USA - in terms of $$$, far more than even the Beatles.
Although the Bros Fairbrass are in the minority like us (and one of the few musos who have the courage to speak out) they probably get inundated with songs. I donāt know Fred and Richard personally, but I do know that if you can manage to get through to them they will be interested in your song.
