New Year’s Eve in Glasgow. It looks like fun…
Glasgow is a ‘tough town’, but from what I can see in the above clip it just looks like a bunch of middle to old age people trying to enjoy themselves.
Couldn’t make any sense of it at all, unfortunately, but absolutely no sense of collective outrage at the actions of the cops. So there may have been some incident beforehand that we’re not seeing? Or are people so cowed that the violent arrest of a guy who isn’t masked, when they all are (so it seemed) is quite okay with them? That was my main impression.
