Salmond is exonerated, Sturgeon exonerated and poor Craig Murray is facing jail.
Wtf?

There must be considerable interference by UK and other security services going on in Scotland. The absolute determination to prevent Scottish independence goes beyond obsessive.
I do suspect though that the SNP prefer power within the status quo as opposed to really striving for independence.
Sturgeon is in the same class of zealot as Jacinda.
Though awkward at the moment, with elections pending in May that could give a further mandate to the push towards another referendum, with the polls showing a steady yes-to-indy majority now, yet still, on the slightly longer term view it’s good to see that Alec is launching another party.
Something has to be done about the comfortable gravy-train acceptance that seems to have overtaken the SNP, and which has emasculated their drive towards independence. Paedominster and its ‘delights’ - for the in-crowd - have clearly sapped the will of many Scottish MPs.
Craig Murray is also involved in new political initiatives to re-ginger the indy current. All of that is the sort of healthy multi-party politics which a genuine democracy needs. No need to wait until after Scotland has finally escaped the English-raj class’s ukstate antidemocracy before initiating all this. It may delay a little the final escape into real sovereignty towards which Scotland is clearly heading, but patience will win out.
It is indeed clear that the rajistas will do everything they can to prevent Scotland’s escape. But the raj have tied themselves hand and foot to the fate of their Anglozionist-empire overlords in the Swamp, and will be going down with them, as they decline and fall.
Scotland’s future is as one of the small, reasonably-democratic West European states of the Atlantic seaboard. With a bit of medium-term luck, Cymru and England will be joining them eventually, and Eire will be reunited in liberty too. But not before some sort of revolution has finally emasculated and tamed the pernicious criminals of the raj. As they have done for multiple generations, those self-replicating schmucks-in-charge (schmics? ) will continue to screw everything for all the peoples of The Isles as long as we go on allowing them - not to mention all the other peoples of the world who continue to get screwed by the rajistas’ global thieving-rackets run out of the City.
Oh god! Will human society ever be perfect? No, probably not. Some bunch of crumbs will always manage to screw things up…
Schmics? Me like
Your point about Westminster being too implicated with the AngloZionosphere to be able to fully commit to obstructing Scottish independence may prove true @RhisiartGwilym.
Meantime Craig Murray’s blog is back and has a few interesting titbits:
