Paul is a redoubtable fighter for Scottish independence, which I also support steadfastly, and I’ve been following his blog for years. Now, though, it’s the parting of the ways. My farewell post (copied below) explains why:

I once gave you a donation, to contribute to your wise work for independence. But after this amazing gaffe about what’s really going on in - neo-nazi-dominated - Ukraine, I think it’s time for me just to delete your blog from my bookmarks list. Really sad about this. Sorry. I do share you passion for independence, but this is beyond mooncalf silly!
BTW, I got the covid-flu in the early Summer of 2020, when I was 79. I dealt with it the same way I’ve dealt with any first hint of a cold or flu every Winter this past quarter century plus: Upped my regular prophylactic dose of vitamin C from two grams - sic! - a day in slow-release tabs, to thirty grams - sic! sic! - a day of ascorbic-acid powder in a jug of water, a mouthful taken every half hour, round the clock. That’s known as ‘divided doses’. Sodium ascorbate, another form of vitamin C, is also as good, a bit kinder on sensitive stomachs, and virtually tasteless. As with normal colds/flus, I was just ever so slightly under the weather; this time for three days, when normally the thing is resolved overnight. Then the covid-flu was gone, just like all the others. No re-visit ever since: natural immunity working faultlessly. No doctor consulted, no hospital visits. No problem. I also take regular prophylactic multivits, with special attention to D. Plus plenty of sunlight for the same purpose. Bulletproof! 
Naturally, I haven’t taken any of the worse-than-just-useless poison-stabs which are now killing and maiming people by the scores of thousands - whilst making billions for the Big Pharma criminals.
