Exactly right. Having read the Canary article all I can say is what a waste of taxpayer money. No wonder there is a shortage of court time.

While it has been established that AntiZionism is a protected ‘philosophical belief’ in terms of Equality Act (at the ETA of David Miller), if that belief could somehow prove contagious the AngloZionist project is seriously weakened. the proscriptions of demonised organisations, not least ‘Hamas’, and the widespread attacks on Woke v2.0 in higher education are among the wide arsenal of counterattack tactics.
I’m hopeful that it’s too late for this shameless strategy to succeed, but Tony Greenstein looks like he has been stitched up properly.

Tony Greenstein Not Guilty
Seems he defied judge’s orders, telling the jury that they can in fact decide basis of right or wrong (I paraphrase)
"Before the jury returned their verdicts, Plaschkes indicated that she had considered contempt of court against Greenstein, who gave a closing speech to the jury earlier on Friday.
The judge said that “on calm reflection” she had concluded that it was “a rambling speech delivered by an old man” and would not have impacted the jury’s decision."
A lol from the judge. The same ‘rambling old man’ that’s up on terrorism charges - precisely for his communication skills?
Her colleagues in Law N Order have been happy to see old women ten years Greenstein’s senior arrested and charged with terrorism for writing on a piece of cardboard in the street.
Not guilty - so, not such a fake terror trial, then?

The only thing that was not fake about this trial was the jury; that is why Greenstein won.
The judge imposed numerous hurdles and obstacles which would have rendered the fairness of the trial…let’s say, questionable, The jury kept getting sent out to avoid hearing what the accused had every right to have them hear.

At several flashpoints the defence challenged the judge’s orders, evading the restrictions by eloquence and tactics. Greenstein himself defied the threat of contempt of court in order to deliver his own closing speech to the jury, subbing for his barrister in order to do so.
He may have surmised that he had nothing to lose; in any case, this may have been the winning move; his speech shook the prosecution lawyers to the point of themselves claiming his remarks were in contempt - a sure sign of their desperation to put cloths over the juror’s ears.
A key point may have been him telling the jury directly that they had the right to decide on the basis of their own consciences - ie what was right and what was wrong,
By contrast, the judge had insisted that the political context was irrelevant, and the trial shouldn’t be a political sideshow. Greenstein wasn’t having this - perhaps biting his tongue to avoid saying that’s right, politics is the MAIN show - his actual retort on this is worth digging out from the links.
You won’t find a better speech at the end of any film. In the end he owned the opposition, and all their arguments. A tour de force, someone aptly said.

We know Tony Greenstein a bit of old - he’s a tough cookie, a one-man awkward squad, a Jewish Galloway if you like (or is GG a goy Greenstein?) and (if I didn’t utterly despise them as I do) I could almost sympathise with the twats in that courtroom biting off more than they could chew. You don’t mess with Tony, he can quote Idi Amin at you in open court. Good on 'im. Bloody well done. Move over Rajiv Menon!
