Jeepers. I’m sure I can explain it rationally, I just need to find my blue pills
sort of like fibre optic drones:
cheers
Hm…Seems like spiders from Mars could be less worrying than the actual rational explanation.
How this advanced gunk weaponry was allowed to be a thing without at least a big hoo-hah, I’ll never know
It’s certainly bizarre. I’m finally prompted to tell a quick story…
At Christmas I gifted to me a new alarm clock, that links to the dreadful amazzon elixir. I usually keep a piece of the packaging with serial number etc and cut the box up to do just that.
Wherein I see these odd filaments, at least two, inside the packaging:
They almost look like a crease in the card but are tiny filaments about 10mm long (I kept them in my baccy tin). I think they are a form of data monitoring but my guess is only for the use of the factory.
If they ship out a pallet of 144 useful personal assistant devices then it will pass by a scanner of some kind. That pings the receivers, for want of a better word, and analyses the responses. If 144 unique identifiers come back then they know that Crafty Xiu hasn’t hidden a bunch of empty boxes in the pallet and had it away with 24 Alexas. Or whatever.
If they do serve a more sinister agenda I think my baccy tin is probably quite a good Faraday Cage.
As much as I hate Amazon as a company, I still use them. Fortunately, I do not save any of their packaging for my compost pile, but I will be looking at all their packing materials a little more closely.
