WEF Investigating Founder Klaus Schwab for Financial, Ethical Misconduct

The news broke one day after the World Economic Forum announced Monday that Schwab was stepping down as chairman “with immediate effect” from the organization he founded in 1971 and led for more than half a century.

I’ll offer a bet with good odds, that once the groveling eulogies are over, that the cry will be, “The king is dead, long live the (new) king”.

That said, I just wish he would take the Samurai option and actually fall on his sword.

It will still be interesting to see if it’s one of the old guard of zealots (Blair, far too tainted, surely?) or some fresher more Instagramable wildcard. Or a random pick from the currently downgraded Slava Ukraine ringleaders: Freeland? Trudeau (snigger)? Maybe Macron would be tempted…
