I looked at some of his posts a while back, and came quickly to the snap conclusion that he wasn’t very useful; not as a sufficiently savvy commentator, anyway. And in fact, in this post he starts with an astonishing remark, which seems to demonstrate that he still hasn’t cottoned to the increasingly obvious fact that there’s some sort of big fiddle going on. He expresses puzzlement as to why the facts about vitamin D haven’t yet been more widely told. (I can suggest some reasons for you to mull, John!)
But here, he starts by noticing - finally - that D supplementing is seriously useful for staving off the illness. Great! Finalmente!
He then goes off into one of his ‘getting lost in the details’ talks, which also lost me within a minute. Included in this spiel, eventually, is his astonishing assertion that “none of these had any effect on covid proofing” - including C and zinc, though to be fair, he does express some surprise that the supposedly-reliable med-fact text from which he’s reading would say that about zinc, when it’s already pretty well established that that supplement is crucial.
So - clearly my original judgement on John was pretty close to a bullseye. If you can bother listening to the whole wander, you’ll be able to confirm it for yourself.
What did impress me, though, was the top comment from a nurse called Tracy:
[Tracy969LPN ]
“As a nurse, I’ve been taking vitamin D, C and a multi vitamin daily since last March-I’m around covid and have seen 80% of my coworkers contract covid. I’m happy to say that I’m tested weekly and have Never come back positive as of yet. Stay safe everyone.”
Elevated good sense, proven on the front-line by practical experience. Respect, Tracy!!
