A couple of very worthwhile articles linked below from the Disinformation Chronicle SubStack. I ended up there earlier today and bided awhile, and there seem to be a number of other enticing articles - however, many are paywalled.
This first one concerns a minor “follow the science, duh” nutjob who must have acquired a degree of credibility/prominence back in the bad old days because even I recognised the story:
And this one skewers ‘Misinformation Researcher’ Sander van der Linden whose odious book Foolproof has been pushed at me, and possibly you too, via a few website algorithms. There seems to be every chance that Mr v d Linden or one of his many sock puppets created the buzz that caused these ‘pushes’.
