… has anyone tried this (or something similar that is outside the official Android ecosystem)?

I have a fairly decent old HTC smartphone, top-edge stuff 5 years ago. It won’t run Android anymore so I might give this a try. The irony of the name (given the alleged content of Covid medicinal compound) hadn’t escaped me!

Lots of videos about degooling etc and mostly in simple English.

Thanks @PatB . It looks like Graphene will only work on a Pixel phone. Off to watch the vid.
