Cyber war hots up, but not on the BBC

On the night of February 13, several NATO websites were subjected to a massive cyberattack. Including websites of the headquarters of the special operations forces, the US Ramstein military base in Germany and other resources.

From Southfront, who generally are very dry but objective.

Interesting; I’m assuming these are mainly Denial Of Service attacks (where the server/s that run the website are overwhelmed with requests and cease to respond to page ‘GETS’). But the Reznikov stuff, and the compromised Ukrainian ‘security’ officers are slightly different. Very likely simple phishing attacks where the recipient is conned into entering password details into a fake website and the same password is used to access accounts which ought to be private.

I don’t understand why Reznikov ‘resigned’ but was kept in post. I’m sure I saw a story where he was going to be moved sideways into some other role but then that didn’t happen. He must have some goodies that others don’t want revealed, or more likely that third parties don’t want revealed YET. (For ‘others’ read ‘Biden’)
