I’ve always hesitated to proclaim the approaching end of capitalism, as some hopeful but intellectually-incautious people do, encouraging though the signs are. But it becomes ever clearer that rackets such as the covid-triggered Great Reset are clearly aimed at another self-serving revolution in human affairs, ginned up by some factions of the globo-cap gangsters-in-charge class (the Schwabist WEFfers and the Bellender Gatesoids, for example), to try to cope with the steadily-worsening pressures of the Long Descent; which directly contradict their interests and intentions, and their billionaire dragon hoards, and which - pretty certainly - are going to trash the hopes of the globalising gics, as they watch all their world-domination dreams collapse to rat-shit under the non-negotiable flash-floods of the Synergising Global Crises.
The obvious response to this latest delusional - and doomed - scam by the world’s schwaboids is an ironic “good luck with that, suckers!”, since neither the gics nor anyone else have any chance of reversing the LD tidal flood of history now, with the world in the grip of the steadily-worsening SGCs (population overshoot, climate shift, absolutely critical energy shortfalls, raw-material famines generally, increasing food precarity, the Sixth Extinction, repeating epidemic emergencies, and so on).
WIGIG*, and there’s nothing that MMT or all the other windy hallucinatory hypthesising by the tame tenured-ivory theory-babblers can do to stop that geo-physical inevitability.
